I come here often but usually it's just to make myself feel better. I can't stand the racism, sexism and sadomascism that comes with /b but I can look at it and think "well at least I'm not as fucked up as that guy." There's something comforting in knowing that someone is a worse person than me and 4chan is a perfect place to see that. Plus I get to call them out for it often, it doesn't usually get results but I think /b is a necessary evil.
On top of that I'm not the only one who uses it like that. On most posts trying to piss people off, there's at least one or two people that call them out on their bullshit which makes me think there's even some more lurking.
Also the porn is deifnatly a selling point. 4chan is great for finding any kind of porn you like.

I think there's more a problem with Star Wars than IHE. I teach kids and when I say star wars to them they think of the overall property, but when I think about it I think about Empire and the original trilogy. There's Star Wars the brand and then there's the Star Wars movies. As a brand they're doing excellent. So excellent EA was able to fuck customers out of two different Battlefront games in under 2 years and it's still not going anywhere, but as movies? Force Awakens was a rehash of New Hope (which is fine they needed to start somewhere), Rogue One was long and drawn out, and Last Jedi was kinda stupid all around. It's hard to say Star Wars is going down the toilet when the hottest selling toys are Kylo action figures. I have a problem with the term but I think that's more what he meant by "true star wars fans". Fans that actually want good movies and not just merch.
On the topic of IHE I agree he may be losing an edge but I still really like him. The Sardonicast is great and I still love the search for the worst.
