The idea is that she's an angel Paladin that was basically betrayed by the god she fought for.
She had all her powers stripped and left as a fallen angel with no god to follow, so she wouldn't have the normal Paladin powers; instead, she follows the oathbreaker path.
She'd have a natural disdain for gods and those that worship them and could potentially go through a redemption later in the game and find a god to follow.
Kind of edgy, but an edgy character is fine if it's not OTT.
