Me too bro, basic shitty tv that briefly came in Whenit wanted
About two weeks ago. I was drunk as god damn fuck, and bowled a respectable 62.
That just got me right in the feels. Had to watch it again a few times. I swear I remember it not taking that long, then again I have not played on a real ps1 in years... Gonna have to run the bios in emulator just to see how long it really takes
I remember when that first came out and me and my friend couldn't figure out what the fuck to do or where to go,didn't get the turn base combat so we named barrett nigger and quit
Does anyone else here remember how cool it was to be able to talk on a cordless phone anywhere in the house without having to be tethered to a phone cord?
This was the first computer game I ever played.
Also, when I was seven I nearly got suspended because I was a little hacker and figured out to how get into DOS and crash my elementary school's first computer and none of the teachers could figure out how to fix it.
>Never had a PC that could game as a kid, just consoles
>missed Diablo I and II for this reason
>have III but find it pretty gay and nothing compared to Path of Exile
Worth getting I and II now? Do they stand the test of time?
I'm just the opposite only played 1 + 2, but yeah they're both worth a run through, I'm not sure if servers are up but if they are it's an ungodly amount of fun to punch everyone in the face
Baulders was always the shit too
an internet for you good sir.
>Even though i have no license i always find the clutch.
I remember when I got a few bags of pegs to fill the whole board with pegs with a single color.
>when neither politics, economics, race, religion, or any of that other shit mattered to you
>level 2 (or 3?) was literally impossible to clear on Hard difficulty cuz of a bug
>AI of the units and traffic was shitty so you had to design your shit a certain way
Good game, despite it's bugs. Still play it from time to time.
Mesopotamia, 1760 BCE:
The small city state of Babylon is growing under the energetic leadership of its new king, Hammurabi. You have been sent down river to bring some enclaves of Sumerians and Akkadians into the fold. Use your powers of persuasion when you can, but don't hesitate to resort to war if they prove to be resistant."
in my europoor country that head was voiced by my classmates dad and when I rang them on the landline and he picked it up was like talking to that fucking face over the phone
Characters in Diablo I were all saved client side. You could just use character editors to give yourself godly gear/stats. If I remember right they did fix the dupe glitch pretty early on, but I can't remember the patch number.
Diablo II characters were saved server side which is one of the reasons why it stayed relevant for much longer. There were plenty of dupes though. I remember using one back in the day where you could put an item in your cube, sniff some id and then send a packet and it would drop a duped item on the ground. You could bind it to a key and keep pressing and SoJs would cover the ground like when you dropped 1 gold everywhere, it was amazing.
Before I learned the previous dupe, there was a trade hack where you could initiate a trade, put an item in the trade window and then send a packet that would close the trade and put the item back in your inventory, but if you said something like 'whoops need to make room.' and then initiate the trade a second time, there would be a ghost item in the trade window already. They would think you put it in, and put their items in and accept. It was totally a dick move, but it was hilarious. I felt bad for one guy that I did it to and gave him every godly item in the game when I learned how to dupe.
I also created 'free sojs' games and actually dropped free sojs all over the ground when I decided to quit. Probably could have sold them on ebay for a bunch of money.
Those were the days man....
They were basically the high level currency of the game. Gold had no value, but everyone traded items for Sojs.
I actually had a bit of a racket where I'd buy bugged items on ebay and then trade the item in game for a huge amount of sojs that I would then sell back on ebay for a small profit.
im trying to remember the name of that hacked charm tgat brcame currency for s while. People would fill their inventorybsgs with it snd the stats still applied. Amazon would straight one shot you with spread arrow if you left town.
