Is anyone terrified of these as much as I am? Make me fucking spasm like a retard if one is too close.

Cellar spiders specifically, over any other spider.

ceiling spiders eat other spiders tho
>>
Only spider I'm NOT scared of. For one thing, they stay in the same spot without moving for fucking forever. That's a spider I can get behind.
>>
>>767472720
I know, and I understand they aren't poisonous or anything either, but they look way too fucked up to exist on the same planet, let alone living in my room.

It’s the long legs, it’s a generic thing, I’m extremely terrified of snakes, the actual slithering and shit, it’s been build into our dna for a long time

Not only that, but their movement too. They seem to be so shaky and erratic compared to other spiders, really unnerving to watch them freak out.

No, these spiders are super chill. I have one sitting in the corner of the ceiling above me right now, he/she's been there for months.

Can't deal with the roamers though, they get put outside.
>>
One ran over to me on my bed and I punched the fuck out of it - I can't stand the fuckers, they're all leg and it's just not natural
>>
>>767472673
These fuckers like my basement way to much.
Every once in a while they get shoah'd because they keep killing other spiderbros.
Fuckers

Pffft they are more fit for this planet than we are. That’s why they are so diverse. But yeah they look alien by comparison. I always try to logic myself out of it by thinking “they don’t hunt humans, that would be stupid. I’m fine, they will stick to bugs.” But then I touch a web and I’m dying.

Not really terrified, I just don't like touching them.

What really bothers me is that you only ever see them indoors, but never outside. And you never see them enter, it's like they just spawn.

Whenever I spot one, it drives me mad instantly. Like, how can they even dare to enter my realm and build they stupid fucking webs everywhere. Hate these fuckers.

btw the crawl on you at night and drink your saliva/blood to survive if they get thirsty, so if you want spiders you might prefer to open the window sometimes to let food in for them, and pet wet sponges under/above their nets

Right, some people are spiders to. My best friend of almost decade one day opened his mouth and out came thousands of spiders while his human skin fell to the floor like a pile of clothes and suddenly the whole room was just spiders.

They usually come through your vents. I see plenty of them outside in my backyard though, and I've been hiking in a forest with them crawling all over the ground. Not a fun time.

Here's a pic I took years ago in Okinawa. It's an orb weaving spider about 10 inches in diameter, with webs that stretch from the ground to trees over 6 feet in length easily. I'd much rather touch one of these over a daddy long legs any day.

Damn OP I've only ever seen these and they're smaller than a fingernail.

Really? I believe they exist in every part of the world that isn't entirely snow.
>>
They're okay. I don't mind them like I used to. Although it's kind of bizarre how they never really move, and when they do, if you touch their web or what ever, they just lose it, and shake their web all over the place.

I hate spiders. Fuck them all.

When I was a kid, we lived in an old house. Brother and I had bunk beds because we were broke and had three bedrooms for five people. Stupid sister got her own room.

I had the top bunk. Almost every night, I'd wake up to a goddamned spider on my face. The fuckers were everywhere in the old house, but webbed their 8 legged assholes down to my face at night.

Fuck them all.

Pic related. It's what I'd do to all of them.

A similar one's been strolling across my desk at work since a week or two. Haven't seen it since monday though.

>>767475582
Also, where do you live that you've never seen one of those?

No man, there were hundreds. Maybe thousands of the little bastards.

>mosquitos
They were in the backyard. Fuck them, too, but fuck the spiders first.
>>
>>767475974
Thanks for pointing that out. It helped me decide that I should never ever go to Okinawa
Also, daddy long legs are like the only spider I don't have a problem with.
>>
>>767472673
I love them. There is a huge spider in my basement. Sometime I catch a fly on a windows and give it to be feed.
Spiders are peaceful

The way they walk is super hilarious. When I was a kid I used to blow on them just to see them do that silly wiggle they do when they move
