Doctors are definitely that way because they focus on the body with this very hardcore mindset of "get the diagnosis and the rest might be sorted out". You give the workup, get your differential, rule out the scariest shit and try to get your working as fast as possible. Fill out your paperwork when you can etc and run. Your biggest power is diagnosing and writing meds unless you're a surgeon. The nurse cant do that. Most of the people around you can't so you act within that role and it's an easy cycle to fall into. I tend to think of the person as a working system with a flaw or flaws somewhere... a lot...
Nurses are patient advocates which is cool since they are the eyes and ears on the floor and have their interest in mind. They know more than they get credit for and an experienced one may correct you if a mistake is made. Since they spend more one on one time with patients they seem nicer too. Personally, I hate how some of them think they are martyrs and brilliant nurses who are "as good as MDs/DOs/PAs/NPs " but the ones that aren't like that I like and patients like them more too. I'm young and look young so patients love to see me (set me up with their daughters) for the 8 minutes they deal with me before I walk out.

The thing is I had checked out before she added me, and it was a couple of months before they started me on chemo due to red tape (super expensive drug, funded by a specialist part of the country's healthcare budget, and the day after my doctor mailed in my application forms they changed they required documentation and it all had to be completed again and resubmitted) and a lack of urgency because I wasn't going to die immediately. Which means that during the time we got together I was no more a patient of her hospital than I was of any of the other public sector hospitals here. When I started chemo we signed and lodged a thing with the HR department to say we were seeing each other even though she worked in the ward and my chemo was done in out patients and we had no direct contact during my appointments there.
It's a grey ethical area but since she wasn't involved in my treatment it wasn't an issue as far as I'm concerned.

I’m a paramedic. There is literally zero reason to put a patient in cardiac arrest on a 12 lead, that is something to do after return of spontaneous circulation. (ROSC) absolutely put the limb leads on. Whether it’s shoulders and abdomen or arms and legs, doesn’t matter either way. Easier for shoulders and abdomen because it’s easier to manage.
