Regardless, how do you guys think the next movies will pan out? I think that Strange gave up the stone because he knew that Thanos would use the stone to reverse time and recreate the mind stone. This could have easily created alternate timelines or set a loop on their current timeline. Either way, obviously all those characters won't stay dead and that this was the only way they could win as Strange said.
