So what'd yall think?
>>
forgot falcon, but then again no one cares about him so i can see why he was forgotten
>>
oh wanda too
>>
>>767357612
meh
>>
>>767357663
He's with his family
>>
>>767357612
Pretty good. The old formula is very boring.
>>
Overall a pretty good flick. Spidey dying was the only snap death that really felt weighty though. Loki dying was also pretty fucked, especially since it was right at the beginning and he probably won't come back. I like that p much only the og avengers were alive at the end since that means they will probably have to die to save the avengers that died from the snap. The whole life for a life thing etc, I think it's a nice way of transitioning the MCU from the og avengers to the never ones.

>>767357755
not hawkeye, the black guy with wings. he's on the poster but not marked as dead
>>
I honestly don't know. I couldn't buy any of the deaths. Kinda felt like nothing happened.
>>
>>767357812
oh

>>767357612
The one big thing that bothered me was in thor ragnarok they made a big point out of thor realizing he doesn't need his hammer, Odins final lesson to him was "You're the god of thunder not the god of hammers" and what does he do when his brother bites the dust? goes and has a hammer made.
>>
>>767357612
better than expected tbh
>>
>>767357836
you know i said the exact same thing
>>
>>767357828
exactly, they killed so much people.
everybody knows they'll come back eventually.
>>
was better than what I expected. Still not good tho
>>
I fuckin loved it, but im a huge marvel nerd. felt like 10 years in the making was worth it.
>>
>>767357771
That's Actually the best theory Ive heard
>>
>>767357864
It just doesn't make any sense to me
>>
>>767357612
Haven't seen it but read a thread explaining the plot of the whole movie. Personally I like movies that have pessimistic endings. That's the only reason I want to watch this movie.
>>
Get the strap,
>>
also the soundtrack was kinda boring, they should have done like ragnarok and used a better song for the final battle
>>
>>767357836
The reason he needed the weapon was because he needed a weapon to hold its own against the gauntlet. his powers alone couldn't do that.
>>
>>767357836
I took it to be something like Thor is now wayyy stronger than he was before but having a hammer still takes his power level wayy up. Like, without a weapon forged in that Dwarf Sun place or whatever he's still strong af but with a hammer he's just fucking crazy strong. He obviously was obviously able to take on Thanos with Stormbreaker, if Thanos didn't didn't have the full glove I bet thor would have torn him apart
>>
>>767357953
In the second movie the original avengers are going to work with Adam Warlock to make a new gauntlet and Adam will reverse what thanos did.
>>
>>767357612
Well, if they killed off "Super Nigger" then, I'd watch it, just for that.
>>
>>767358045
This is what I'm thinking mostly. But what role with Cpt. Marvel play?? obviously thanos glove is like... fucked up at the end of the movie too. Is he able to use the gems at all?
>>
>>767357612
Vision is a fucking little bitch
>>
>>767358039
Yeah I can see that but why even write it in to be speculated at? That's what bothered me was it wasn't even a necessary thing because having the hammer forged didn't change anything, so why include it? idk was a good movie tho
>>
>>767358139
You leave vision alone he's a robot with feelings he don't know how to handle shit
>>
Excellent film and really enjoyed it, but the whole starlord ruining it was bull shit. So obvious. And not only that, he would have waited until the glove was off to shoot him, or one of the other avengers would have stopped him. Done just to extend the movie which could have been done in a much better way.
>>
>>767358135
>But what role with Cpt. Marvel play
Probably a minor one, I assumed that was just a way of saying she's going to be in the next one/promote her upcoming movie
>>
Was fine except for the waste of time africa bits. I get it, theyre the most advanced civilization on earth and some little nigglet talks to bruce banner like he's a downs child. Strong movie but they chimped up the ending too much.
>>
>>767358156
honestly thor getting a new weapon is just some fan service shit. I'm not gonna lie, I loved seeing him flying around with it just obliterating the outriders. I think Thor is so strong now that it almost seems strange that he didn't do more in the movie. Like, I LOVE that they didn't just retcon how strong he supposed got at the end of ragnarok, but it still felt weird.
>>
>>767358135

Clearly he could use the space gem since he moonwalked right out of there after his final solution.
>>
>>767358384
hm. true. But can he use them in conjunction now? Maybe he can just use them one at a time? The fact that the glove looks REKT has to mean something.
>>
>>767358439

Yeah, he still has megamiget at the forge so they might set a trap for him there.
>>
>>767358156
At the beginning of the film we see the aftermath of Thanos' fight with Thor, in which Thanos won. Thor later having the new hammer and beating Thanos with a full gauntlet shows the real power of that thing.
>>
I'll never see another Marvel movie again.

You spent 10 years building up to this movie and Thanos wins? Worst of all, you now make people watch the next few movie on the off chance they reverse what never should have happened? Nope. I refuse to continue doing this.
>>
>>767358135
They wont introduce Warlock, they are going to use Cpt. Marvel instead.
>>
>>767358244
She will be central, they dont have a Warlock movie comming out and wont introduce him to save the day in the next movie.
her movie will set her up to replace Warlock to use the guantlet.
>>
>>767359447
her movie is set in the 90s as an origin story though. on top of that warlock should be introduced at some point given guardians 2
>>
>>767357989
Quit spamming this in every fucking thread. It means nothing.
>>
>>767357612
i recognize like 4 of these people
>>
>>767359303

> Thanos wins?
> Part 1

Hem...
>>
>>767359794
of course it is an origin story. You cant introduce a new character/world in the next movie, there isnt time, it would be fine for comic fans, but as the capstone of MCU arc1 it would feel super forced.
>>
>>767360211
I LOVE that it doesnt say part 1 on the title anywhere. loads of people I know didnt know it was a 2 part movie and are legit mad about it.
