OP 's right, here. I built an Anderson AR pistol with all RF85 parts. It's all broken in now, and because it requires no lubrication at all, I break it down after a few range visits and wash it in the dishwasher!
Hand to God, I really do! Best shooter I have.

A reflex sight is about the only thing I’d put on the AR, besides backup iron sights and maybe a free float rail.
For AKM platforms, nothing. I’d leave it the fuck alone, most I’d do is a side mount dot sight if I was doing anything over 200 yards - and the furniture would be wood, not plastic. Only plastic would be the Bakelite plum grip.
