The best way to run is technically barefoot, but that isnt really functional. It is the best for joint health. I assume these sandals are the closest thing to barefoot while still providing protection.

Marathons are 26 miles. 26 mile running sessions are normal for humans, as endurance runners, they would chase their prey for hours until they collapsed from exhaustion.
Pavement point is right, that's why we have shoes. But all we need is a thin layer of rubber. That's what these minimalist sandals do. The shoes are shitty quality by design and charge 10x though. They even sell DIY kits so you can make your own at a similar upcharge. lmfao.
