Stupid matchup because it would never happen because geography. Whichever was on home turf would win by attrition as a grizzly would probs become lethargic and dehydrated in a humid rainforest and a silverback would die of exposure in alaska. Fair weather fight, my money's on the grizzly just because at the end of the day it's a predator with seriously op melee damage and the gorilla is a forager, albeit a huge and strong one

The AVERAGE male gorilla is estimated to be roughly six times as strong as a human male. Where a gorilla would likely cause a massive amount of damage would be the bite, which is about 1300 PSI (to compare, a great white has a bite pressure of about ~650 PSI).
In the interests of this discussion, of course, the bear would likely win. Those massive claws, and the fact that an adult male grizzly weighs in at about 750lbs while a fully grown male gorilla is about 250-300lbs, I would think would give the bear a bit of an advantage.
