It’s tedious, but if you load a snap and go on airplane mode, screenshot it, log off Snapchat and log back on before reconnecting to the internet, Snapchat won’t know you’ve even opened the snap when you log back in.

Get a basic screen capture app. As in to record your screen. I use AZ Recorder. Or mirror the screen on your computer and screen capture it there. Anything that actually goes through snapchat itself is patched to notify on the app since like 3 years ago.
Basic screen record app, press record, open snap, watch pic/video, stop record.

My phone came with a stylus, and when I pull it out it prompts a quick menu with an app called Capture+ which takes a screenshot. In my experience, snapchat doesn't detect it and notify the sender. Don't know if it's available for other phones, never needed to look, but I don't see why it wouldn't be.
If you have Google assistant, open the snap, activate assistant click the share screenshot option. Then either upload to photos or drive, as long as you don't save it locally it won't register as a screenshot. Tried and tested many times.

so what i do is. load up the pictures/videos sent. then once they’re all ready i turn off my cellular and wifi and screen shot or record them. then delete snapchat(with the internet off still) then when snapchat is gone i re download it and log back in and it’s as if i never screenshotted at all :)
