Yeah it was extremely passive, Janna/Lulu/Soraka with Ancient coin ardent censer rush. It got to the point where supports would run gold runes and ADCs went either doran shield or took relic shield to get that ardent first. Ardent was everywhere at world's and they eventually nerfed it over and over. Now everyone is squishy thanks to not having mr runes, so there's lot of aggresive mage supports. I watch QT stream sometimes and you'll see shit like ez/xerath bot lane, that shit does not look fun
