Your turn one ruins your opponents turn one. It also gives you card advantage. 2 life is nothing. Life is just part of the casting cost in black.
I know it would kill sales and probably the game itself and cause the biggest mass triggering in the community, but I wish wotc made a rule where you can only have upto 1 of any card in your deck except basic lands. This would dramatically change the way mtg plays, and make people use more cards from the ginormous card pool this game has.

Exclusively blue control players are always enormous faggots outside of the game as well. I mean, you would have to be to build a deck of cards designed around not letting your opponent play the game at all, and not engage in any of the core mechanics of the game which you are both supposed to be enjoying. It just takes a certain type of person to enjoy that type of deck, and its always the same type of person. I am sure all of you have noticed this as well. Dude that really depends on how much of a faggot someone is, not just whether they use Blue. My wife has a shits and giggles blue frog deck that is basically just about turning opponent creatures into frogs, apes or pigs for a turn. I'd rather play against an all blue deck than some bullshit like decks based around bringing out indestructible creatures that return to the battlefield from the graveyard immediately, or some of the crazier Eldrazi or sliver decks.
