Not prescribed personally, but i know people who get large amounts regularly. IME and what others have told me, it's usefulness drops off very quickly with as tolerance builds. It works how you described for about a week and feels almost inert in another couple weeks with daily use if you aren't increasing dose.
It can be really fun on it's own if you get the dosing right. I've felt like I on a combination of mdma and xanax at the right dose.

Not my favorite but probably what I drink the most. Normally with sugar free red bull but they're pretty interchangeable. If I'm at a bar I'll get an irish mule. When I have card games at my house we all drink whisky straight.

Has really went downhill somewhere in the last 5~ years. Used to be a decent whiskey for cheap but I swear something about it changed for the worse.
Costco - Kirkland anything has been my go to recently. Got a jug of 6 year aged whiskey for like $22. Sometimes they carry a small batch bourbon for 30~ that is amazing.
