80 work hours per week / 7 days per week ~= 11.5 work hours per day
16 waking hours - 11.5 work hours = 4.5 hours
let's say you take 2 hours for travel.
4.5 - 2 = 2.5 hours left.
2.5 hours for eating 3 times is more than most people get.

Over the 7 years, I have accepted multiple promotions leading up to area manager.Also, Amazon will not allow any associate to exceed 12 hours per shift. This argument is horse shit. I work for a trucking company as a mechanic. I went to school, sure, and all that does in this industry is make my resume look good enough for them to hire me. But the other guy who works with me started out in the wash bay washing trucks. He had no prior repair experience aside from a desire to have a shit box honda sound unnecessarily loud. They let him transfer as a mechanic and after the year he's worked with me, he's just as competent as I am. We average anywhere from 25-35 dollars an hour, depending solely on how hard we want to work.

You don't just load the trucks, you have to check the shipping labels for a street name or postal code for the appropriate truck(s) you are assigned to. You also had to stack these in an organized manner in the trucks, so you cannot just throw them in there; the driver has to rummage through them on delivery routes.
