They look pretty nice and are somewhat solid if you've already watched the original series, but due to them being shorter, they lack in detail in the character development and focus more on the action rather than the psychological elements of the story.
They're not bad, but don't even come close to the original. Maybe the ending will put it in another light but for now it's not that great.
