Well, my father is in fact a little the same way as yours. But he was the one that recognized my interest in technology from I was really young, and always gave me gadgets, computers and consoles.
As he said, he's a more "man man" and don't really get the technology hype, but he just wants me to be happy and is happy that I have become happy doing what I do.
