I'm not sure how that happens exactly. its not my preference (all girls seem short from here), but I still find myself always dating girls 5'9" or less.
all I can put it down to is the pool of girls over 5'10" is small enough that I never match up with one.

if you're in the top percentile for height and you're hoping for a guy also in the top few percent? math is gonna work against you. you'll be looking at a few people out of a thousand who fit that and are compatible in other ways.
much easier for me; being tall and into girls smaller than me means that almost 100% of girls fit that criteria. I'd take that any day.
