The first 4 Pantera albums are god tier. They started out as a kickass heavy metal band influenced by Grim Reaper, Judas Priest, Van Halen and pre-Hysteria Def Leppard. Then they went in this awesome groove-thrash direction on Cowboys, but everything after that is hit or miss. Holy fuck, Vulgar Display of Power and Far Beyond Boredom fucking blow. After Cowboy's, the only two good albums they made were Southern Trendkill and Reinventing Steel.
