That's not how it works. You cannot buy a firearm without going through a mandatory waiting period and a background check unless it's 1.) A private sale from someone you know (if it isn't then it's a straw purchase and highly illegal) and 2.) or 2.) You live in a state where concealed carry permit holders can bypass the mandatory waiting period, such as Florida. The only way to get those permits, however, is to be a resident of those states.
Seriously, learn how the laws work before you start fucking talking.
Oh, and the "gunshow loophole" isn't a thing. It's just a way people were using private sales to "wink wink nudge nudge" their way around paying taxes and such. This. Even if we wanted California-level gun control across the country it wouldn't work. NY, Connecticut, and other states have all tried assault weapons bans. They expected hundreds of thousands or millions of registrations or confiscations. They got less than 10% of that... and that's only the assault rifles they have a record of, which could be as little as half of the total number.
Gun control is not an option. Our only option is to enforce the laws we have and trim down the bureaucracy so that people don't slip through the cracks.

The age of consent is only a guideline, most states in the US can have minors married with the consent of a judge for under 15.
And they have done that.
Since 2000, over 200k kids were married, sure the majority were 15 or 16 for most states, but there was a good amount of 14 and lower, the lowest being 11 for a girl, 10 for a boy.

Spain until 2015 was 12, they changed to 18.
Italy is still 14.
As is Holland, and a few other European countries.
