interente said movie 1 and 2 are recaps so i skipped them
the normal series is superior to the movie tbh, but i'm a sucker for happy ends so it got a very subjective bonus point for that
the normal series was kinda spoiled for me since read some LN that had a very similar plot, kinda spoils the plot when you know homu is time travelling the moment she is introduced to the class
i kind of disliked madoka from the second time she said she's useless
some of the characters had too little time to be introduced properly kyouko in particular(and her character gets turned around after like an episode too)
as much as i find issues with things i have to admit that while watching i was really captivated
gave it a 9/10 on MAL simply because it was an enjoyable ride
the movie starts out... retarded, it's not enjoyable and i was distracted for pretty much the first quarter
then it turns into something? at this point i kinda got lost, probably because i had to get back to paying attention
i don't like mystery so while i understand the premise behind this part i can't say i enjoyed it much apart from the action scenes
and then comes the madoka part and i am really lost on that one, i have the feeling they threw some concepts about the whole souls-thing overboard, consequently it only made sence in bits inbetween the rather epculiar visuals
... i think the movie is too convoluted to seriously assess after watching it once
