That gif is exactly how I feel comfy. When I was a kid, I used to go outside when it started snowing, like big fluffy snow that meant a snow day the next day, and I would sit on the fence around our yard, and just watch the snow fall. I miss that so much, nothing could ever compare to that.

Working out in a garden area while it's raining is great- assuming the rain doesn't start blowing sideways.
No one wants to mess with you. No one wants to come out and harass you with stupid questions. Those that do come out just want to do their business and leave.
Sometimes it rains all day. Depending on the manager, they'll either shut it down, or just leave someone out there- usually me, to handle any customers.
I really appreciate the latter days.

I remember when i was very little, my family and i had moved from NZ to Australia.
We lived in rural Kalgoorlie, so buttfuck nowhere, orange dirt, roadtrains and crazy desert people.
There was a small self serve laundromat made from an old shearing shed. Big roller doors taking up a full wall opening out to the endless orange desert.
My mother would always take me there quite late at night to do the laundry once to twice a week, pitch black outside apart from the occasional flickering of a roadtrain passing in the distance and the flashes of green and red eyes of curious kangaroos and possums.
I remember being swaddled up in a blanket sitting on a cheap plastic chair next to my mother whilst she read a magazine as we waited for the wash cycle.
For some reason the steady hum of the machines and crickets chirping, sitting all warm under the fluorescent light and staring out into the darkness brought strange comfort to me, unfortunately i have no pictures to contribute but i thank everyone who has, it's nice.
