Not in the literal sense, but in the way that you personally interpret what a genius is.

The fact that you claim that you're a genius shows that you're conceited, and no amount of intelligence can ever fix that problem. So whether or not you are actually smart doesn't matter, you're still lesser to those around you.
>>
What are you drinking and how old are you?

>>746023264
That's not genius.

While your understanding of existence may be some profound breakthrough no one else has yet thought of, without any evidence it is meaningless. That's even before we consider the fact it is most likely just pseudo-intellectual musings that are at or below the level of a philosophy undergraduate.

Genius has to have something to show for it. E=MC2 was just a few characters on a chalkboard until Einstein could explain it and use it to change the course of human history.

And what is the nature of existence?
How can we ever understand the “true” nature of existence? Is it not beyond us?
How do we epitomize something beyond our lives, something that is both before and after us?
I dont see myself as a genius, but my interpretation of the true nature of everything is that we will never understand. We attempt to rationalize everything, yet there is no rational answer. We exist in an irrational space, yet we cling to rationality because the fear of the true unknown (unaswered questions, things that do not makes sense etc.).
Point im making is, everyone is wrong and right at the same time.
Everything is impermanence.

Since when is an IQ of 42 "genius"?
>>
>>746024644
But doesnt it seem that way?
Everyone is fighting (not literally, but figuratively in life) for their life.
And i mean everyone, those who live it the worst and those who live it and succeed (atleast to the standards we have set) ultimately ends up being for nothing (sorry for the cliche)
Impermanence is everything we see, even the things that have been here millions of years before us eventually cease.
Even our mindsets, and the intelligence we have to explain stuff like this and understand is impermanent aswell.
Now most would equate this to “nothing matters just kill yourself”, but i like to revel in the fact that since nothing has true meaning,we create our own meaning, in the end for nothing but that is tragedy of life.

Which I think is a good transition into what I would like to discuss next. With our recent breakthroughs in the understanding of quantum entaglement (thank you photons), do you think there is a limit to a single photons entanglement with others, or could it be finite pairs, or perhaps a set number of pairs, or even a single pairing at one moment and other pairings at other points in time?

A couple of years ago there were some scientists that proposed a test as to whether "reality" was a simulation. the theory was that all simulations have a "resolution", a base limited packet of information. Think of a computer bit. The test proposed a way to measure if that limited resolution existed. I never saw what the outcome was.

op here. the question i was waiting for. i dedicated a lot of time to this one. the answer is: if there is a way to simulate an universe indistinguishable, and literally identical to the "original" universe, the odds are close to 100% that we are living in a simulation, because eventually the simulated universes would also make simulations of the universe which would be operational due to the similarities in the original and simulated universe, looping to infinity. If not, there might be a maximum of a few simulated universes, if the original maker of the original simulation did not code in the impossibility to make a simulation in order to keep the cpu from crashing. I cant really get in detail at the moment, but the answer is somewhere around 40% certainty of living in a simulation

I have my own theory about gravity that is as follows:
Gravity is not a force at all and mass as such doesn't even exist. If you consider mass as the acceleration of the expansion of a particle then you don't need gravity as a force anymore. What happens is an object that has higher mass expands faster and therefore bends the universe around itself faster therefore pushing things away from itself. Now this pushing effect actually causes the illusion of gravity. If the moon is trying to get away from the earth but the earth keeps getting bigger and pushes the moon outwards from itself then the moons motion will become curved and it will rotate around the earth. Similarly if you jump up, the gravity doesn't pull you down, instead the earth has larger mass than you and it's expansion will quickly become faster than the speed you had at the moment you jumped up and hit you from the bottom, which will create an effect that the earth actually pulled you down. Which it didn't. And since gravity isn't pulling things together, the expansion of the universe isn't slowing down but speeding up.

The proof for this is that the effect of gravity on time is exactly the same as the effect of any other acceleration. And since you aren't accelerating when you're standing on the earth (unless my theory is correct - which it clearly is), you shouldn't get any time distortion from the gravity. But since gravity isn't a force, just the acceleration of the expansion of the universe, it does have the effect on time.

Again, as I said previously, scientists are fucking stupid.
>>

>>746028656
Every measurement has a resolution. Just because our measurements have granularity doesn't mean the measured object does. It might still be much finer in detail, we just can't measure it.

Are you stupid or was that bait? You're saying gravity isn't a force but is related to acceleration. hi OP, here is an image generated by my own random function, it passes dieharder tests better than linux kernel's.

>>746033393
Just because you can't comprehend what I write doesn't imply any ignorance on my part.
>>
>>746022948
Do you take your grandson on adventures?
>>
>>746033403
ok, ill be objective. if you feel that the medication has an overall positive effect on your life, that is that the positives outweight the negatives, you should keep taking them. as for the lying part, in what way exactly do you lie and why? give me an example
>>
>>746033587
I fully understand what you want to say, and to some extent it makes sense. The issue is that we simply do not know enough about the universe yet to make such wild speculations.
>>
>>746033860
There are several things to note though:
1) I can make predictions on how the observable universe will behave if my theory is correct
2) I can run simulations based on the proposed model
and
3) My simulations actually match the observable reality

You are correct that we don't know enough about the universe, but if that is the reason why we shouldn't speculate, then we can throw away science as it is because most likely the entire observable universe is just a tiny subset of the entire universe, so we will never have enough data to get to the whole picture anyway.
>>
>>746034124
im interested to see the data from the simulations, could you provide?
>>
>>746022948
How's your grandson Morty doing?
>>
>>746034124
I picture reality as a giant wave cake. We can't naturally see the wave functions of most of the particles we see in the limited moment. That dimension is mostly hidden.
>>
>>746033275
No one is surprised by the particle's change when measured. I have no idea where you get your nonsensical bullshit from.
>>
Anon why are you such a faggot
>>
>>746034405
Definitely not here. I was actually running simulations of object interactions in solar system and on smaller scale of objects interacting with the "gravity" of earth and then collected measured data. But I fail to see how I could post it here?

I have also written down a set of equations that are using only speed in a 4 dimensional space instead of having a 3 dimensional space with objects that have mass and time as 4th dimension, and when I went through the equations and converted them to classical physics, I actually got to the exact same equations as the scientists have.

My entire view of the universe is that it is only 4 dimensional and everything is constantly moving by a constant speed in those 4 dimensions. All that you can really affect is the direction. Which is why it would appear that time is slowing down in high gravitational field or if you accelerate towards the speed of light. In fact if you just think of the universe as a function of motion with a constant speed, the entire thing becomes much more simple.

** IMPORTANT MESSAGE
-------------------------------------
**
** I was speaking with a senior developer, we were discussing
** ERM, and he said "the fight is over. They won." It disgusted me.
** He's well over 30. There's no fight left in him. But we can still win,
** /b/. We all knew that hefty attacks were coming. We all knew who
** they'd come from, and we knew they wouldn't stop.
**
** We must not stop, either. We cannot let them win.

Look up the original post I was replying to...

Someone wrote we don't know why the wave function collapses when you measure the position of a particle. And I wrote it collapses because you interact with it during the measurement. People always have the weird idea that the double slit experiment is something magical, when it isn't.

I lie a lot to get away from surtain situations. Like when i'm confronted about something, i tend to lie my self out if it and the must scary about this is that i'm really good at it. I haven't been caught since, forever.

I tend to change some of a story i'm telling to my freinds. Like example:

A month ago i was in Oslo with my freinds. We attended findings festival, this big music festival shit, whatever...

A chick that i've been talking to alot and become really good freinds with and i was planning to meet before i went to get wasted.

We talked, had fun, and then we said our goodbyes.

But then, i fucked up trying to get back to the apartment i was staying at, so when i finally got there, i just told them that i was sleeping with her.

Now this part scares me the must:

I explained everything in great detail. Like it actually happend. Sometimes a forget it was a lie and start to belive it my self.

I tend to change a story when i'm telling one, to make it look good, make it the way i want. Not the way it happend.

What is wrong with me? Should i speak to my therapist about this?

>>
>>746034915

Wow, you "discovered" something I learned in second year physics. Really, anyone that has studied Special relativity AT ALL knows this. Look up 4 vectors, this is well understood, nothing really profound here. It is fun to think about how we are moving at constant speed through the manifold of spacetime, but it certainly isn't new thinking.

ur wasting this thread with your stupid argument about semantics... and being a genius and conceited are not mutually exclusive (i think) ... ask a fucking question.

interested to see your work, simplicity is usually the answer to some of the most complex problems, literally everything can be viewed as something much more simple which makes much more sense, but its subjective in a way the individual observes information i guess

In case you asshats are too lazy to look it up:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four-vector

This is nothing new, and is well formulated in modern physics. Also, the math is fucking simple, SR is mainly algebra. If you want to do it in non-inertial reference frames you need calculus, but that isn't bad.
>>
>>746035556
aging is genetic, it can be stopped, its just a question of time. my take is that aging is the natural mechanism versus overpopulation, so all that has to be done is to find the specific gene, which is more than likely to happen in the next 50 years. However, as for diseases, we might need a bit more time to figure out what to do versus the evolution agains antibiotics
>>
>>746035710
i had an interesting life before this point, id say im qualified to give advice
>>
>>746035242
Yeah, but then you all simply start thinking differently when it comes to mass, gravity and the expansion of the universe for no reason whatsoever. What I am trying to convey here is that the universe is much more simple than what people view it as.

>>746035574
I could probably dig up the old simulations, I was doing those years ago, but probably have the whole project archived. I got to a point where it all made sense to me so I moved on to other stuff that seemed more interesting. I'm really bad at explaining my ideas to other people though.
>>
Have you considered writing a book?
>>
>>746036304
about what?
>>
>>746036253

Yeah, the universe at the large scale is fairly simple. That's why GR is so beautiful; simple in construction, deep in meaning. But, if overall you think the universe is simple, then you really know nothing about it. The human reality is so simple and shallow, it is nothing like the universe really is. learn some QM then come back.

Anybody that calls themselves a genius is an idiot
>>
>>746036557
that question gave me legitimate deja vu, go figure.. The answer is that im bored
>>
>>746036508
If I ever have an interest in QM, I will. Right now I am not really interested in physics, my interest in gravity was years ago. I suffer from insomnia, so what I do is, I find something that doesn't look right and try to make it right in my head, and then move on. I only wrote what I did because someone asked about gravity.
>>
>>746036735
eh, its subjective. I did it to get the attention of people and not spawn a dead thread, which clearly worked.

It's called being a sociopath.

Yes you should see a therapist.
>>
>>746035165
what you describe here is the act of proving yourself to others, more specifically proving that your life is more interesting than it actually is. I suggest talking to a therapist
>>
>>746037921
But, compared to a sociopath, i'm nothing like it. I only have the lying part.
>>
>>746038084
im positive that your issue can be solved by self control, but if you feel that it is not something that you can do on your own, seek help

That is a sociopath.
