Cons:

humbuckers
that model is cheap with cheap hardware

Probably sounds cheap

Pros:

love ibanez necks

I paid maybe 500 or 600 for my acoustic electric, I still love that guitar it was my first some faggot kid hit it with a chair and scratched it and I was so pissed it's fine tho
>>
>>715159951

That's better for sure. I don't like the Ibanez tremelos even on the higher end ones.

Also, I hate that middle pickup as I really dig into my strings, and I always hit that fucker. would replace the humbuckers with actives.

Or, you could just get a Jackson soloist or some such incarnation and be done with it.
Only problem is the Ibanez necks are so thin and fast. It's hard not to like.

I assume you are playing metal...
>>
>>715160361
Yeah I play alot of metal/deathcore been told I should stick with fixed bridge guitars for tuning and stuff but id really like to experiment with a good whammy at some point

>>715161871
got it for $625 shipped from reverb pretty happy since this model typically runs at $850
>>
>>715161003

I would just get multiple guitars for multiple tunings.

All bands / projects have different requirements.

For instance I use one guitar primarily when I record rhythms, and another for solos. Another for drop tuings. A specific 6 string for live in one band, and another for live with a different band.

far too much dissonance for my taste, but pretty good thrash style other than that

>Sounds like the background music in a hooror movie.

that's what my wife said. said it reminded her of some old mob movie or something haha. That is a song from my first band back in like '98 or so. I sped the tempo up, embellished parts and broke down and played some violin on it. Now it has a dual memory feeling for me.

>Not too shabby, bro.

Yeah just old. I thought the song had potential so I redid it after the band had gone to shit in my own image.

Little slow for my tastes lately.

Get Mexican or Japanese made one. Fender quality, just at a lower price. I've got that exact same telecaster in white with the single coil in the bridge and a lipstick in the neck, maple fretboard. The thing is a dream for clean tones. It's an american made one, so it's a little more pricey than the MIM or MIJs but the MIM and MIJs are really good for their mid price range.

Not mine on the picture but I have the same model, only that mine has white pinstripes on the back.
Also have a 88 Epiphone LP with P90's.
Amps and speakers: Krank Krankenstein V2 with Krank 4x12
Randall RG1503 with Marshall 1960's 4x12 (John Norum in the band Europe played with this 4x12 live on Sweden rock festival)
I mostly play metal, rock n' roll and country

Agree. Diminished is only great when used as contrast to something. Especially as a vi - -iiv cadence with the vii grinding the full diminished leading to resolution on the I (or i)

Fully diminished 7th chord is composed of a diminished triad plus the interval of a diminished 7th above the root, while the other is a a root note, a minor third, a diminished fifth, and a minor seventh; guitard.
>>
>>715174116
I actually went from a line 6 spider 75w to this. Wow the difference

How hard was the google search faggot?

The difference between both chords is that of a semi tone in the "7th" note

You're just persecuting me because I have a life in music theory and don't have time to answer questions to your convenience
>>
>>715176698
Nah dude, I'm just further proving that you don't know shit about music so stop with your djent bullshit already
>>
>>715176940
You're the djent fag, I'm the theorist. I have a theory question for you: Pete and repeat are on a boat, and Pete falls off. Who's left? Better not google this, fag.

808X are basically what they're supposed to be. I got them pretty recently, but I can say they have enough clarity to satisfy me, but in the end I'm not sure if I would have picked seymours instead. Hard to tell right now. All in all pretty good.
>>
>>715173428
you really know you are a failure if you spent a lot of time on music theory
>>
>>715171714

>>
>>715177455
do you play in any band so we can check your proficiency you cumstick? if so it will be a shitty tech prog metal band.
>>
>>715177492
lol you really shouldnt say that if you dont know what it means

You like to project, I see.

>>
>>715177693
i would love to, but knowing how people are here its not very smart to give y'all any links to my stuff. it has aspects of prog but it aint full on. I can say thats its more like King Diamond style, but with a old school thrash sound. Not like the bullshit "thrash" of today
>>
>>715177483
The mikro in my OP pic is decent if you're starting out but if you want a whammy bar don't think you can go wrong with this one >>715159951 don't trust my opinion tho I'm a pleb apparently

Don't play guitar but I sure appreciate some great shredders.
>>
>>715180157
I have an epiphone masterbilt dr500, pretty solid mid level guitar, plays well, cant say youd go wrong looking at one
>>
>>715180157
Get an acoustic electric, that way you get your moneys worth and can learn alot more. Plus bigger fretboard makes it easier to transition to electric, I say getting my acoustic electric first was worth it
