I shit once a day, so I always make sure it's before a shower, although I do wipe thoughrouly to make my job easier.
I end the shower with cleaning my crack and anus so there is no risk of smearing fecal matter anywhere on my body, using a soap covered little finger to clean inside.
Having a balanced diet helps greatly, not much smell, no constipation, no runny shits.
