I guess it's time to drink and cry. Or more accurate accurately, drink and get really really sad but never cry, just put my head on the table and tear up.

Well thats okay then.
Why are people so hung up on Sachii. His soul left the thread 2 months ago, when Shizuru bailed. Stop whining, move on.

Id be with you, but I still don't own any alcohol in the house.

If he was your friend he would communicate outside thread. Hes a moron if he didnt leave a way to talk, and if he wasnt getting help with his depression hes doubly a moron.
>>713886339
The content uploaders do. They pay retail price. Netflix pays less. And Kissanime gets new releases from the channels as well. How else would RT agree to RWBY being on there?

See my first reply.

Well then its other people uploading to the hub website. Other people paying and hosting. How else would they get that quality? Theres too much data degredation from recording, cropping, using a third party program to extract or just pulling it from source.

Correct. As much as its a meme, people take this way too seriously.

So Kissanime as a site is just a public-run library. Because that is the definition of a public run library.

Im saying you definitely need to at least change your way of looking at the thread. Treat it less as a way to connect with people, and more as a way to just wind down and chill.

Yet you dont take part in anyone else. Im always open to whoever wants to just chat, discuss or whatever. If I see something I like, I say something. If I see something I dont like, I ignore it unless its being forced down my throat, like 90% of Umaru posters and people recommending me to watch ReZero. Thats when I get aggressive. Never angry, for personal reasons. Just start using more forceful language. Im trying to say that I dont see this place, or any of the Discords, as my primary method of talking to people. I use work, my friends and people I meet for that.
>>713889791
Its impossible to tell if something is stolen if its just a file. You use pictures someone else took of your waifu, right? You saved those pictures, right? Technically, you stole them. You didnt ask permission. How can anyone regulate that? Kissanine doesn't know the source of a file. Crunchyroll gets their files from websites that actively stream, and offer a wider audience.

If you like football you can like hockey.
>it's great you're great
The problem with trying to help random people, I've found, is that they often don't want to be helped.
I try explaining to them that I used to be just like them- thought I could make my way in life with absolutely no one and no friends and that I'd be unstoppable- an emotional rambo of sorts- only to collide face first with reality 3 months ago.
I tell them it's very slow progress in making friends and finally getting the courage in talking to people, and how they should start now, etc etc.
The problem is, most people will process everything I tell them and continue in their misery. It's like they enjoy it.
>>713890531
Thanks anyway
>>713890639
Have you found a way to do anything about it?
I really don't think therapy is helping me
>>713890326
But if you download a file from crunchyroll then upload it to another site then it's stealing as you didn't ask crunchyroll or the creators of the anime if you could upload it. Anyone who downloaded any picture off the internet stole it then, that's a different thing
>>713890639
Ok -_-
>>713890781
Sorry, that was rude. How's life for you?
I like hockey decently enough.
>>713888981
I'll toss in some mainstream stuff, although in doing so I date myself a bit. It runs the gamut with me though, if it sounds good I'll listen. Always open to something new.

>>713891108
Buffaloes are rocking some nice outfits. But the way that first Washington drive looked, this could be an easy win for the Huskies.
>>713891239
No friends.
Thread's not in the best shape. People love each other on here now(!?). Sachi left because of depression or some shit. Haruhi is on the verge of a breakdown every day it seems. Karen, Stocking, and Eu never come here anymore, but that's old news and you know this.
>>713890964
People often realize the potential in others before their own selves. When I've helped strangers it's been as much a lesson for me as them. There's people you can reach right away, others that are impossible. Those are sometimes the ones who push you away though.
It does take emotional investment to take on someone's burden, whether they're willing to or not.
The most difficult part is helping someone break from an abiding state of mind to a mind that expands outwardly, yet remains immovable. Many limits we put on ourselves or others are plateaus, nothing more. Yet it's easy to stay atop one and tell yourself that it's as far as you go.
>>713891395

It takes a strength to shoulder your burdens. It takes more strength to ask for help.
Maybe if people stopped complaining about their own ills, they would improve. I know of one person who we actively helped on thread, but his best efforts couldnt help as everything was skewed against him. Thats an example of a system designed to fuck over people.

>>713892936
Quite the sad atmosphere here. Maybe leaving for a bit isn't the worst idea.
>>713893584
Thats the hardest step for everyone. Way too self reliant in their own eyes. Its hard to break that mindset of 'you have to knuckle down and deal with it'. That never works. Ive been pulled out of one by my brother, another by a close friend, and I returned that favour to a few friends. One who I had to share my worst with to shock her into actually paying attention, one who I helped indirectly because she was talking to another friend who was over his head. One friend I did nothing more than keep supporting through work, making jokes and generally just being a nice person. I am always myself, even here. It helps to never have to wear a mask.

>>713894627
Some of that is a product of society and upbringing too. Like you said, wearing a mask. People live for their self image instead of their actual self now. No one was put here to meet the expectations of others. Yet that's how people are conditioned to believe in many cases.
Probably the easiest example to think of is when you meet new people out and about, especially at gatherings. After a brief introduction, work and inevitably, money and possessions are the next topics that show up.
Both pale in comparison to actual experiences. Keep doing your thing, it's refreshing to see.

Pretty much. Its his decision, and hard as it is, he has a life to live. Gotta let him live it.
>>713895385
Im fairly certain he is aware. Its not like he doesnt have a Discord / Telegram / Steam he can still use. Still, I hate being devils advocate to the thread. Especially since Im working.
>>713895585
I really shouldnt be doing this at work, but its really the majority of my time. And its generally not overly busy here.

1200? That's quite a bit.
Besides some not very impressive officiating, this is a pretty good game. Colorado's backup quarterback (starter killed his ankle) isn't half bad. Jake Browning is Jake Browning. Colorado is getting in some big time sacks. Washington's defensive line is pretty damn spooky. Washington's running game is fantastic.
>>713895645
Yeah, that was just ugly. There's always one or two of those in conference championships though.
>>713895116
I don't gotta worry about that anymore thankfully. On the other hand, I spent about half the workday dancing around attorneys over the phone though
>>713895923
I don't got a smartphone for that very reason- using it for idling on company time. Of course, part of that too is that it'd be a bad example if my people saw their boss wasting time on a daily basis too.
>>713895923
Ohh nice, so you're a cook?
>>713896485
Some guy in /sp/ said he was blocked into the punter, but I didn't really see that.

Yes I will respect it now
>>713895796
The only thing I'm worried about is that he's been fooling all of us from the start.
>>713895585
yeah

MACtion update: Western Michigan intercepts Ohio's final hope with under a minute left in the fourth quarter. 29-23 Western Michigan.
>>713896485
As long as I achieve what needs to be done, my coworker doesnt care. But yeah, the boss cant really be seen being non-productive at all.
>>713896592
Yep. Too many years though. Need to quit for my body's sake.
>>713896832
Missed me with that one :^)

I enjoy being part of the club, I'm mentalised that at some point it will hurt but that's worth all the positive emotions that are felt before that.
>>713896306
Just a couple
And that's good to hear
Do you watch all the games?
>>713897227
woopsie. good thing you're paying more attention than me

>>713896751
Likewise. But then again, it's /sp/, /b/ with sports. Gotta take them with a grain of salt.
>>713896832
Unfortunately people will do that, or they get uncomfortable and then just back off and disappear.
>>713897188
Excellent.
>>713897227
That's more or less it, 5-6 hours of honest work is about what I see most folks doing, but beyond that the productivity falls. If they spend an hour at the end of the day idling I don't mind if the work's already been done.
I only have to micro one or two individuals, but it's mostly because they will fall behind and get killed by the work if I'm not on them.
>>713895791
Oh hell no. Especially not when the fire exit is blocked. I might as well pull a grenade and hug it.
>>713897469
All the games? That's a lot to watch. I'm just gathering info from both of these teams during this first half. And I read up on stats pretty often. I try to keep up on all things college football.
>>713897696
Not excellent! If Navy beats Temple, that could delay the bowl selection process. Navy still has to go against Army a week from now.
>>713896832
Kurome wouldn't do that to me
>>713895880
Barcode ADC.
>>713897846
I confess that I can barely keep up with the SEC alone
But you do seem awfully dedicated, and I can definitely appreciated

>>713897696
Thats why I like where I am. I dont need the micro. The last place tried to micro me to hell and I got fed up. I knew more about my job than the owner and he was blaming my 2 short early week shifts for weekend fuckups.
>>713897696
I know all about that.
>>713897985
I'm sorry I still kinda have trust issues with kurome posters. this one seemed nice though.
>>713898055
I love college football very, very much. It's going to suck when the season is over. It basically means I do nothing for 6-ish months until practice, spring games, etc. starts again for teams.

I'll give you all the credit you want
>>713897846
That's what I want, I like watching the selection people squirm. Besides, Navy deserves the spotlight for something this year. It's nice being able to talk about handegg outside of /sp/.
>>713898246
Yeah, most people don't. The larger the group though, the more you see the bell shaped curve with respect to performance. The top aces, middle of the road, and the stragglers at the other end. Our job is all field work, 1 office day for paperwork and turning in inspection reports/tickets/etc., while the remainder is spent in your inspection territory, doing inspections, complaints, mosquito control, etc.
Not for everyone, but if you like working independently and not having your boss 30 feet away from you at all times it's nice.
>>713898274
Kurome has been so nice and supportive towards be
I really makes me feel better when Kurome is on
