Toby is well known as the designer of the game which is fine. He probably came up with a good deal of the concept too.
The story from there is similar to Barkley: Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, he tried to program it in RPGMaker, realized he -couldn't-, and switched to Gamemaker while getting somebody else to do it.
I know he did this because the game has GOOD programming and GOOD music. Toby' simply not good enough to do everything and it's impossible that he could have auteured this in the time it took to develop. He's just not that good at that many things, nobody his age is.
Considering that he tried to do it in RPGMaker originally, I'm SURE that he got a real programmer to do it after getting the money to kickstart it.

It never slowed down, never crashed... It just worked and it was easy to use. Both of my iPods have also worked great and again they are easy and intuitive to use. kinda this: i played undertale before knowing about the fanbase, for me it as a fun game but kinda "meh", what interested me in the game was that people said it gave you the oportunity to not fight the enemies and i was looking for some games in wich you have other options besides slaughtering everybody (im looking at you skyrim) but undertale's "non-combat" approach gets boring really quickly because it's the same thing every time.

It's a really great show, think of season 1 as just set up, I really goes 0-100
season 1 is a little slow but it's only 5 hours long, It's basically a mystery show, everything is something and the show has a lot of great messages, there's an episode and song about dealing with anxiety and loads of other stuff, it's 100% not sjw it's just all done beautifully
