I don't like art theories. Every 'explanation' on art genres or specific pieces of art don't really interest me. Most of the time they 'presume' what the artist meant to say, but imo it's up to the viewer what to think/feel about art.

Well what I meant was how 400 years ago something like pic related wasn't even considered art and the line of what is and isn't art but I know what you mean.
A lot of artists including myself also like what the viewer perceives what the picture could mean. That's why I say "What I think" instead of "The author means means this"
