Ohh, I'm well aware of how well big iron runs VMs, but the cost for support on the hardware (assuming someone is paying it) is absolutely outrageous!

Before we shut down our 400, we were paying IBM $75k a month for OS and hardware support...
Company I used to work at had a 3 zSeries, they were paying just north of $1.2m a month for their support...
I really learned to hate IBM over the years.
And above all, I hate Connect:Direct/NDM!!!!
>>
>>713488792
you might dislike what we do but honestly, seeing our consumer base, I don't care. It's like the more we're hated, the more we're visited. I literally went to meetings where the main topic was "how to spend our revenue because it is too high right now". The answer usually is "give it to workers", and they do. That, and buying so much random shit off of amazon
>>
>>713487937
Not too difficult no, just need the money to get the licences (UK here, so about £2200 total)

It pays well so it's worth doing, specially if you work for a company that allow you to work weekends, can be taking home over £1200 a week sometimes

I didn't do anything related to gamergame but IGN played a big part, and you couldn't imagine the amount of pressure we had from some powerful people to defend feminism and all that bullshit. I was kinda spared that fuss, but my friends and colleagues received phone calls at 3 in the morning, urging them to say girls were harassed online, or their contract would be terminated. Why, who... I don't know more. I never wanted to know more either

Regarding gvnmt shit... I don't know, the only thing comes to mind : recent elections were hard on us, I don't know all the reasons but we lost millions of dollars in like 2 weeks, then it all came back and books were kept clean... I don't know but I think we might have financed Hillary or Trump, under the radar. All I care is that the money's back now and no questions were asked. Some time ago, the big boss came to our office (first time in years) and urged us to just ignore any financial transactions we might have heard of.

The rest is all rumors, IGN isn't the CIA

It's dark shit.
The google group you guys used was started by the son of the guy who started Common Core.
When Gamergate kicked off bill gates dumped a shit ton of money off to finance you guys.
Basically what i'm saying is you're part of a propaganda plan to enforce and spread sjw culture ie marxism and globalism.
At least that's what it looks like to most people who paid attention.
I'd put all my money on IGN funneling money for Hillary, she's the globalist/establishment pick.
Anything else weird happen there?
Some of the people who financed gamergate are also involved in business with parties concerned in pizzagate.
like I say, dark shit.

pizzagate ? come on I thought that shit was fake

i'm not in the loop of everything, but you want dark shit. I've seen Kevin Reilly, big boss of some tv stuff, talk with my boss and a lot of things changed after he left. We had a list of words and topics we were to never mention again. Not any practical thing, words like butter and monkey were banned. I still don't know why, now we're good to use them again. Topics banned were 4chan for a moment (that's how I arrived here), especially /pol/ and /b/.

Also, we're paid handsomely every month to promote multiculturalism, wether it be in vidya or in social actions. I personally think it's nice, I'm a friendly guy and all that, but yeah we're given between 10k and 20k every month to say "look at that black character, how awesome is he !" or "when the fuck are we going to be able to play women in vidya". So I do admit we're not on the good side right there. But then again, it puts money in our pockets (all 20k goes to workers, we're 57 on my floor, do the math, it's good for everyone)

sorry for mistakes, i'm on the bus on my phone
>>
>>713491743
forgot to say, the money we receive to promote left wing bullshit is anonymous. Well not to the big bosses, but we're told it is from "an organisation that wants to promote happiness and joy" (those are the real terms they use)

I will look into it, this is scary, thanks for the name or I would not have been able to start my research.

I think, without any kind of proof, that deleting certain words from our articles had a huge impact with how google put said articles up top. Certain things I wrote, even the full title could not find the page on google, whereas other articles, just two keywords were enough. There was a long list of words, maybe only 5 of them were relevant and the rest was to drown them. Idk

Seems as likely as anything. We know Google is working closely with the establishment. Probably didn't happen overnight.
There's a huge push for "fake news" to be taken out of the public eye. I think Trump's win took them by surprise and they're upset.
Maybe they were covering up something related to butter or monkeys at that time and if you included those words they'd be burried?

like I said, butter and monkey were 2 banned words in a list of more than 5000. I honestly don't remember more, we've been ordered to delete any proof of that list, 1984 type stuff.

I know that Tickets, leather, randomize, chieftain were prohibited. It was all put together like shit, not in alphabetical order so every time we wrote an article, we had to send it to a program that would highlight the things you needed to change. Said program is now gone, ofc.
>>
>>713491143
they probably would have if you werent there for community service. wither that or they wore gonna be dicks anyways. my manager came from another rink in the area run by the park district, and from what i hear the GM was a grade A dickhead. the one we work at is privately owned, so my manager can do pretty much whatever he wants. i was good enough to be scheduled for a shift on my own in about 3 weeks. probaly the hardes thing to learn is the coordination it takes to work the "gas" (our machines are electric), water controls, blade wheel, and snow chopper

Digging through wikileaks for stuff on monkeys just in case.
Nothing relevant but apparently in the late 70s we were burning thousands of Rhesus monkeys with radiation.
>>
>>713494704
well there's 5000 keywords you could search in wikileaks... Good thinking but if they were any smart, only 5% of those words were important to them. I don't think chieftain could have any meaning anymore, so they added it to the list to hide the really important words. Fun fact : 3750 of those 5000 words were barely used before the interdiction. There were whole expressions that never had been used on IGN before the ban, and now we write them as much as we can to piss them off. One's going " Cry over spilt milk ", which is regretting something. I write is all the time, you can just use it for anything and it fits.

SVT in stressful periods (you know..where you're heart is supposed to be going faster...though not 160/min) is relatively benign.

I assume they didn't have to give you any meds to break it? I give people adenosine quite frequently to break it no issues at all.

I'd be more worried (and I say worried pretty loosely) if it was a rapid a-fib or you remained in a-fib after it converted out.

First draft was 1000 words long and was given to us... i'd say a year ago. Just a bunch of random words, most of them we could never use before due to them having no link to video game. I'm talking Tickets, anvill, cotton... Somewhat common, but you just don't use them that much.

Second draft was way longer, 4500 words I'd say, and still seemingly random.

Last draft arrived near April/early June, and was particularly effective during the summer. The last 500 words it implemented were just as random, with coin toss and "staying idle" among them.

We were told to abandon all censorship and that list on the second of september I think. Well very early in september anyway

Not that guy, but most electricians I've worked with can't troubleshoot a circuit to save their lives. HVAC techs are who I would rather call to actually fix something the first time.

thanks. Maybe IGN was just a small pawn in a bigger thing, maybe they forced other website to ban certain topics as well. Hell, with enough power they could make events go unnoticed.

Last thing I can say, and then I'm out : ANY leaks, on IGN and on any medium ever, is intentional. We knew PS4 Pro was a thing months ago, and we had a non-disclosure agreement, while they kept sending pictures and even internal reviews of it. Then they gave us the green light and we had folders full of info, even outdated pdfs files. That's how much they control the thing. And it is like that for every leak ever. Just thought you all should know. I can't tell you more, but we have received 2 different Ubisoft games. They are in what they call "pre-alpha phase" or "pre-building gamework, or pbg".

Leaks are such a big ass lie to sell more it's disgusting

substitute the yellow pencil for a red one with point reversed from pic and its me right now.

protip: avoid the big 4. Stick with a regional size firm, you will be much happier.

>>
>>713502380
well they are easy to work on but i see now that i am starting to get more into the works of the MA that i should have started on that platform and then learnt the avo because the menus are so much different. but for using cue lists and stunting conserts the avo is the best desk in my opinion. have you been using moving heads much?

Guy gets tools and uses them to his own advantage...getting slightly ahead of the hard workers. He uses his skill to be able to be lazy because he is selling himself to push boxes. If he shared his skill he'd get a one time pat on the back and just be asked to work harder.

Or

Think outside the box, if you want the sweet/sanitary answer.
