I have to cut it open on the side and drain the blood out. The pain goes up to a 9. I use the shower head at high pressure to rinse it out daily.
I've been living with this for a year now. I can't get it fixed because I can't get dental insurance because no one will hire me because my criminal background was defamed by two cops who said I didn't volunteer a price tag they had memoized on the bottom of an item in a thrift store. Next, mix some white ceramic shavings with superglue (gel type, not the runny shit) and seal up that tooth hole - apply in small amounts with a toothpick and build up the cap. Before it dries, put a piece of wax paper between your upper and lower teeth and bite hard - hold for 2 minutes. You don't want to fuck up your bite.
Even better than normal superglue is UV setting glue, but only use this if you have easy access to a sunlamp or other UV source.
Afterward, always gargle and brush with hydrogen peroxide - OTC toothpaste is marked up about 10,000% and is less effective.

One moment all my teeth were like the ones on the bottom - the gum was starting to fall back and the roots started to turn brownish. This thread made me consider the costs of getting my teeth fixed on a private clinic. Very recently I got dental services by the worth of atleast $4000 for the equivalent of $100 or so.
