What kind of CICADA is this??
Well, I'm out before my brain fries. Image is pretty organic, has a thread pattern on background. Fades to dark in the center. 4 corners have inorganic patterns in, of the 4 the top left is thickest, and the top right the thinnest. The bottom left is on a background of pure gray. There is an organic pattern that resembles blood splattered out from the center, moving primarily right, but also toward the bottom right corner. Because the majority of it is so organic looking, and not heavily pixelated we can rule out most tech trickery (Eg: XORs), and the image itself is a jpeg, so most fine data in the image was lost. There are 6 smaller patches of pattern around the center. My theory is that overlaying the corners or the smaller patterns (Possibly featuring rotations, flips, or odd things like stepping far away from the computer or crossing your eyes) will get something. OP text and first post could be significant, and I don't believe the code will be significant until the image is decoded. Anon out
