Would love to see a source on this. I'm not sure about you but I was actually paying insurance premiums myself BEFORE ACA and my premium has more than doubled. At no point in the 5 years before that had my rate increased even 10% year-over-year so I'm going to go ahead and say this statement is false as well.
Not only have premiums sky-rocketed for roughly 90% of people, many states have only ONE provider to choose from. This isn't a choice, it's a MONOPOLY, they are illegal in the US and this never happened before ACA.
1.8 million have already LOST coverage this year with a projected 2.6 to lose it next year. Those who don't will see an increase in premiums between 50% and 150%. Again none of this EVER happened before Obamacare and there's just no way to argue it's an improvement.

The issues are too few doctors, too much malpractice, no centralized bargaining over prices, inelastic demand, unnecessary procedures to cover doc's ass, still too many uninsured, illegal immigrants not paying in and more.
There is no single solution, and this is the single biggest drain on the US economy.
