I'm sorry you had it rough with your family, but there's always that one family member that's always treated you nicely, right? I don't really care much for my mother since she left me with my abusive stepfather when she went to go commit suicide with my sisters in the car, and my stepfather just beat me up, taped up my mouth, and locked me into a closet for a day.
But I have who I call "Aunt Carmen", and she's taken care of me almost my whole life, along with my Nina (Godmother) Clarissa.
Whenever I get money or extra food, I bring it over to them.
