On that same note, the french did some really stupid shit, I don't remember the name of the place, but there was a crater type thing, I'm not sure what the word for it is, but like it was a lower ground surrounded by higher ground, and the french built a fort in the lower ground because they thought the vegetation would prevent any canons or anything being moved to the higher ground, and the viet's took their canons apart and carried them up piece by piece and put them back together, very stupid on the french's part, but hat's off to the viets for working that hard, even though that's what any decent military should have done
