The majority of states and areas don't agree with the left at all but some gigantic super heavily populated cities on the West and East coast are dominantly liberal and give the Democrats are a large advantage going by either method.
Difficult circumstances.
Either let isolated but heavily populated Dem cities rule over the majority of the less populated areas (majority of the US) or allow the majority outside of the city centers to rule over them.
Obviously the establishment is on the cities side but they are also on the side of change, changing America into something new and I don't think thats a good thing or that their intentions are anywhere near pure.
I think only a decentralized Government would really work but immigration and other factors complicate things.
Perhaps only a full dissolution of the Union and some new system with a shared army but split borders could fix things but of course that would never be possible nor allowed.
Guess only time will tell us what our future country will look like and if its anywhere near palatable to us or not.
