A lot of people say that fluffy genetics are a random lottery and I'm here to confirm that it's true. I mean, just look at my mare, Pea Pod. I picked her out of the discount bin as a foal because her particular combination of green fluff and peach colored mane and tail just didn't appeal to any other buyers. She was getting older and the pet shop needed to move stock quickly. I figure she would have been snake food if she'd been there another day.
I raised Pea Pod like a normal, loving owner would. She certainly has her own personality and we've had our moments. In the end though, it's my house and my rules. I decide what flies and what doesn't.

The show features six main characters; Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie. Most people in the fluffy industry know that certain fans of MLP FIM are willing to pay good sums of money for fluffies with the same traits and personalities as their favorite character.
Here I was, watching my discount bin mare nursing and caring for a newborn Twilight, Dashie, Rarity and a would-be Fluttershy except she was an Earthie instead of a pegasus.
It felt like a four wheel slot machine hitting payout on three wheels and then fucking me over on the last one. Ah well, three out of four ain't bad. I'll take it.

I'd read online that most mare's are unprepared for the demands of their first litter and Pea Pod proved to be no exception. I found that she'd often let two of the foals nurse for too long leaving the other two with less milk. My solution was to set an egg timer for her. When the bell went off, it was time to switch.
Another problem Pea Pod faced is that she was used to having little naps. This worked out okay until the foals' eyes opened and they started walking on their own. It's a good thing that my boss let me work from home because I ended up watching the foals as much as Pea Pod did.
Oh well. It would all be worth it once they were old enough to be separated.

My delusions of grandeur. My, how quickly they fell apart.
When the foals' teeth were coming in and I'd just started them on runny oatmeal, I decided to let the world know what I had. I took a video of the litter and posted it on Fluffchan.net. Within ten minutes, my hopes for big profits had crashed harder than the Hindenburg.
My Twilight's fluff was the wrong shade of purple and her mane was more grey when it should have been indigo with a purple and pink stripe. My Rarity's fluff was cream white instead of eggshell white. Her mane and tail were blue instead of purple. My Dash was correct as far as colors; even down to the rainbow mane and tail. The problem was that she was a total wimp. My Fluttershy? She wasn't a wimp. In fact, she was all aggressive, all the time. The total opposite of how a Fluttershy should be.
Offers? I had people offer to put them all in the blender for me because they were all failures and all totally worthless. Hell, people even told me to kill my lazy "shit factory" mare and Pea Pod was only in the video for a few seconds. Yeah, it wasn't her best performance considering she was pretty tired at the time but people on the internet are just inconsiderate.
It's easy to write off smarties as generic dumbfuck retards, but when you stop and think about what they say and do they become a lot more sinister. This is a sentient creature that goes around threatening to murder other sentient creatures for no reason and then tries to do it with no hesitation. The only thing stopping it is how retarded and weak it is.
