I've done this.
Did Police Training at the academy for how fast you can exit a vehicle and bring down a fleeing suspect.
Yanked the key from the ignition and ran like fuck, got points deducted for being too fast because I left half the key in a £70,000 Interceptor.

Wasn't a good day for me, but I earned the nickname Quicksilver and it's stuck with me all my life since then, so can't complain.

>>
>>711828716
had one similar myself, someone came in asking about their car making too much noise on the road but the engine was fine

thick bastard had completely worn down a wheel right the way through to the bone, insisted "wheels and tyres weren't necessary because the road is made of concrete and it's not slippery so I don't need wheels or tyres"

I enjoyed charging the poor sod $8000 to "fix the noisy thing"

There is a house like this outside Gary Indiana. Off I-80 there's this really shitty subdivision just feet from the highway. One house has a hole in the roof and a fucking oak tree is growing out of it. It was a big tree too, probably around 20 years old. It made me wonder, "what's more likely: a house sat there for 20 years with a hole in its roof while nobody did shit about it, or it was a treehouse that fell down?"

I saw it a few times passing by, but recently they put up a wall along that side of the highway. Again it makes me wonder, "did they put up the wall to block out the highway noise from the houses, or to block out the sight of the houses from the highway?"

the darker of the two, base on the right, grooves imprinted on the bullet by the bore's rifling are easily visible. not sure which belonged to whichever nation but the disparity in the patina suggests different materials which someone knowledgeable has probably used to determine that.

The plastic thingy is a deer whistle. You put them on the front of your car and they produce high frequency whistling sounds too high for humans to hear but they warn animals that your car is approaching.

balancing 19.5 and 22.5 large truck tires with golfballs is not that uncommon. It's just noisy so they usually use a powder or bead balancing solution

I think they work. I almost hit several deer so I put some on my car and now any deer I see are running away from the road. I never see one standing in the road or even facing the road anymore.

Placement is key. If you place them wrong they wont work. Lots of people are dumb as fuck and don't understand aerodynamics. They might be placed where the air is flowing 90 degrees to how the person placed the whistle.

It doesn't matter where you put them where I live, the deer around here give zero fucks about your vehicle barreling down the road at 60 mph until the last second. Usually they run off to one side then decide they went the wrong way and run back right into your car.

If it was silicone insulated wire it can probably take the heat just fine. Silicone can take 500 F no problem. Doesn't discolor or anything. But most wire is PVC or rubber insulated.

BMW final drive failure. Was somewhat common on certain motorcycles. Some were known to heat up so much it set the oil in the final drive on fire.

that's pretty normal for a highway speed blowout. Luckily I have only gotten flats at like 30 mph or where I just come out to my car in the morning and its sitting on the rim because it slowly drained air all night from the puncture. Never had a high speed blowout yet.
