I don't care what anyone says or what employers say, a criminal record most definitely hinders chances at suitable employment. It hinders welfare benefits no matter what republicans say and it hinders unemployment benefits. It hinders educational benefits and it is a massive scar that will follow them for life. getting convicted of a crime is extremely detrimental to nearly every aspect of your life. It can and will be used against them if they have children at any point in their life if someone decides for whatever reason that they should not have custody of them.
When they are 40 and they are still suffering repercussions because they assaulted a cop at 20 in a fit of libtard rage, they will hopefully have learned something about controlling emotions.
