Hello /b/,
a long time ago you disappointed me. Now is the time to make up for it.
This time I will give you a point to start at. You will have to pave your own road however.

As someone already stated, the binary converted into "256 bit" which is a type of aes encryption. I'm fiddling around with everything stated to see if something pops up, but someone else is probably much better at this than I am.

Sorry, i'm too lazy.
>>711357525
With the ZedM2... after the line "Don't hesitate to say a word, open up your mind", I'm guessing thats the Hash. Now, for it to be that short of a 256 bit encryption the password should be relatively short I think.
>>711358086
Before I go on with trying to untangle this knot of mysteries, I must ask.....Is what you say inspiration, or is what you say clues pointing to this great road you speak of?

My friend, I am really sorry if you feel insulted. But this string is only the first part of a variety of tests.
This is not only about cryptography. This is more of a small recruitment. I am not only testing your infosec, I am also testing you as a person.
Whoever solves this will be a valued part of important future projects.
If you want to impress me, show me what you can do with this simple little AES string.
>>711370728

>>711370228
I am mostly just curious how you appeal to our minds, and wish for us to open them. However at the same time you say we are a disappointment if we cannot solve your puzzles which are only supposed to be solved one way. That is, to be closed minded in our way of solving the puzzle. We can only solve it one way, isn't that the anti thesis of being open minded, I.E thinking outside the box.
Now, I'm not saying that giving us intellectual stimuli in the form of a puzzle isn't good. By and far it's great for mental exercises and for learning new things. I for one, am not versed in how to use a computer, so I can't for the life of me know where to start here, but even for those who are you are still only appealing to a limited audience by giving us a puzzle that requires foreknowledge of a certain degree.
If you wish to make your audience truly open their minds, wouldn't it be better to create a puzzle which allowed even a laymen to solve the first step and be introduced to the necessary information he/she needs to learn how to solve the next step ad infinitum(or at least until we have solved enough to satisfy your needs) be a better way of going about it?
Sincerely, A dumb dumb person.

"Your riddle is shit, your method of recruitment is inefficient. It is not worth my time. It is not worth anyone's time. There is no incentive to play your game, there is no reward for anyone's effort with this child's play." - Gibson 11825
I don't think he would've helped anyways.
>>711371269
Dude, you're not dumb, and there's not only 1 way to solve this. Many people with different knowledge of a variety of things are helping putting the pieces together. You are being creative and that is the key to this riddle. You just went on the wrong path and thought this was a conspiracy theory.
Try again, don't give up yet anon.

What he said IS true though, why bother if there is not clear reason why.
>>711371269
You are not dumb my friend, you just do not know what my hints mean for this first part. The image alone contains the most obvious hints for solving this part.
It containts the words that have to be used, it contains even necessary settings, the only "hard" party - I can imagine - is extracting the needed key from my illustration.
Determined people will be able to use the clearnet to their advantage. Even non-infosec people could solve this puzzle if they would just look at it in a way that is more or less open minded.
Let me tell you that the illustration is very very very accurate in every tiny aspect of it. Every little detail is very carefully placed.
Just look at it if you want to find out. It is so simple you would want to rip your hairs out if you knew the phrase.

ok guys, i know nothing of astronomy, but the solution is right there
so the imagen shows a sun, a planet, and a moon
the only thing I can think of related to apollo is the own sun (greek mythology) and the space misions
eris is a dwarf planet
selene is our moon, or maybe another moon
it's something related to those celestial bodies, with some help we can solve the mystery.

on the other hand, there might be a relation with atoms, as Sagan used hidrogen to measure time
You see, hidrogen has a very simple core, and a single electron. But that is unlikely because there's a third element in the image.
I'll show what sagan thought, because it might become useful
He showed a male and a female humans
He showed the inversion in the spin of an electron in the hydrogen atom, that causes a wave, useful to measure time
He then showed a point (the solar system) reached by some lines, which represent the nearest pulsars to our solar system. He escalated the distance with the time showed using the hydrogen atom. As pulsars can be used to measure time too, it is a "galactic system" to show a point in space.
Lastly, he showed all the distances in our solar system, from planet to planet, the sun...

I will have to abandon this thread for today. I very much appreciate every contribution but sadly I am disappointed again. Do not take this as an insult friends, I am disappointed in myself.

specifically "listen to your eyes"

OP, you're hurting my head
>>711376468
Yes, as soon as I saw this (about an hour ago) I took note of the angles from the centre to the orbit but I immediately dismissed it as me overthinking.
Wait a second, I'm not sure if I'm just a retard, but I've just figured out that if Apollo, the center circle is the sun, shouldn't the other two be a mock-up of a planetary system, with moons? Eris and Selene?
throwing a wild idea
apollo is our sun, we are eris (as the world in on turmoil), and selene is our moon
simple, fits the imagen and the names, and fts the mythology and the astronomy
still no correlation with the links
>>711376427
You most have posted that while I was trying to edit the picture. I posted the lines as text a little further down.
>>711376730
I'm not the only one, anyone else catching on?
---- Mine: >>711376717
Someone focus on the hash and the "256 bits". Someone else work on the picture. The image itself is showing an object orbiting the sun, moon, and dwarf planet. So basically, it's orbiting our solar system. Where else could we go from here?
>>711376717
You mean like this?
>>711376812
How does that help us though?
>>711376881
Yes, yes.
Sorry if I'm saying something completely idiotic, I myself think it MIGHT tie in.
continuation of the thread here >>711376960
No clue what i'm doing but, overlayed the orbits.
The coded message in the original post looks like a URL. If you assume that those first six letters of the coded message are the first six letters of a regular URL, can't you figure out the encoding method with that? I'm only thinking of that movie about Alan Turing
>>711377265
This is probably a step in the wrong direction, because that image >>711376881 probably came from Google and is therefore irrelevant to our cause, but it's something:
>Neptune has 13 moons, Triton, Nereid, Naiad, Thalassa, Despina, Larissa, Proteus, and Galatea, plus five smaller, unnamed moons. Triton and Proteus orbit close to Neptune; Nereid is in a distant orbit.
>>711377265
Okay so it's overlaying Neptune. Im not sure if this is relevant though. Should we see the greek ruler of neptune? They said everything is tied to greek mythology.
Eris, Apollo, and Selene are (or were) all names related to space exploration projects. (Lockheed Martin/NASA/Japan) Selene is a lunar Orbiter. Fiery carousel is solar system, wrong way meaning orbit... out past Neptune there's an with retrograde orbitnicknamed "Niku"(
Could there be some relation to numbers in a clock? Like the position of the planet in relation to the sun and the moon to the planet?
Nibiru
The coded message that looks like an URL and starts with STRING when decoded with a caesar cipher yields many results when put in an anagram search. There could be a logical arrangement of the letters that gives something

best meme 2016. this is better than trump tbh
Life is a puzzle and you should live it to the maximum potential.

>Try and read my string to untie your knot.
This bait is unbelievably lol.
>>711379247
kek, if it's bait, i really like op cause i learned so many things haha
>>711379247
Even so, it's fun as hell
Put the image into a spectogram, don't know if it'll help.

"
This is a quote from the guy.
>Phrase we must know,
Are there any Greek Phrases that tie in with all THREE characters?
Apollo , Selene, and Eris?
Maybe this is the answer, we have to find a certain saying.
Could the 22.1 numbers be part of GPS coordinates?
Perhaps an archaeological dig site?
Anything important excavated there?
Maybe, also, we must find it a TIME period.
Anyone considered checking if the binary code could hint at an era?
>Not sure where I'm going with this, trying to get the thought process started.
I think everybody is looking in the wrong direction. I think all that you need is the information from the picture and some knowledge about the pieces that make up the picture. I do not think that extra programs will be of any use.
Bump
Did anyone perform a reverse image look up on the original image. I did and found two threads that were archived on 4chan archive.

Me too but some of our info ties in with OP's quotes and hints.
Fuck this shit, I give up. It doesn't matter whether I'm not smart enough or not creative enough to solve this, I just can't solve this even with 30 other anons and 2 threads. We're so far from our goal that our best "leads" are just vague ideas that will never be the answer.
I'm going to bed, have fun with your "puzzle".
i dont know if it will help but the binary at the top has minute differences between some characters and seem like a pattern also both circle have a part different color
Earlier he said "You have to listen to your eyes - and after that - watch with your ears"
By "listen with your eyes" I think that he means that you need really pay attention to what you are seeing, that is, to pay attention to the picture and the hints.
By "Watch with your ears" It's possible that the final solution will yield an audio clip for us to enjoy. I do not think that this part of the hint has anything to do with the solution to the riddle.
It is important to first analyze the hints so that we can understand the purpose or intent of the riddle within the image, and then it will be easier to solve it.
Also Apollo is not the god of sun in Greek mythology if this helps i dont know.
