not in deep debt, but may be soon. job's paying shit all and rent's gone up. meanwhile im looking at getting even more student debt (probably around 18k) next year. life's gone downhill the past few months :(
>>
>>711060146
Only about 8% of my total value, I find this shit easy to manage.

>>
>>711060146
None, because I am not a retard that thinks people give out free money in the form of little plastic cards.

>went to university for a BS in professional physics
>worked all 3.5 years (graduated early), paid for all my schooling
>secured a 9 mo contract with a national lab
>after 9 mo are up, head to graduate school to work on PhD in high energy physics
>be now, PhD candidate, no debt, big truck (M923A2), nice apartment
Feels good.

I'm not in debt. If I can't afford something I don't buy it.

>>711060146
around 10k. That sounds small I guess, but it's almost all credit cards I'm paying 15 to 25 % on. Life sucks. The whole reason I'm in debt is cause I kept trying for better and failing.

10 thousand and it's all in credit cards

tell me how to do debt consolidation

i've read you can apply for a loan or another credit card with 0% apr for 12 months but my score is only average, 650 or so

i'd like to do that so i can just do a balance transfer on all my cards so i stop getting reamed up the ass by interest

They are cards I signed up for during my early 20's just for the purposes of building credit.

I should request limit increases but I'm waiting till I get a senior title and the bump over 100

Also my score would be higher if I didn't go car shopping and allow 4 dealerships to do hard pulls on my credit without my knowledge
>>
>>711061733
Ahahahaha, learn to stop fucking buying shit you can't afford dipshit.

There's no good way out of it except hard work.
Go ahead and try a balance-transfer to one of those offers... guess what, they charge you a percentage of the balance you are transferring. Could be between 3-10%. Basically you'll make a several hundred dollar "purchase" just to get 0% interest for some time.

Two important things.
1) Don't increase your credit limits. Especially if you are paying it off each month. It will actually lower your credit score.

2) It is illegal to hard pull credit without permission. Either you weren't paying attention, or you need to contact the head of the compliance at the dealership.

2.5) As long as the 4 pulls were made within 30 days of each other, it's almost identical to 1 pull. The real harm comes in several pulls within the same year.

25YO, university graduate, yet working a kind of a shitty job that has nothing to do with what I studied.

- 80.000€ for now (paying for the house my family (mom and grand-mom) lives in for the next 30 years)

- 20.000€ down the line (probably) - years back a gas company cancelled their contract with us but they didn't care to take their gas stuff back despite us ocasionally telling them - hey, you're still giving us gas, you didn't turn it off, we have no contract, we can't legally turn it off ourselves, what the fuck". After 4 years they finally came and took their gas-related stuff and turned us off, but they want 10.000€ for the gas and 10.000€ as a fine for the late payment now.

- all my dad's debts (probably around 5000€)
- all the debts my dad made my mum and my grandmother (5000€ more)

I get paid 700€ per month. That's pretty high for our country, but pretty shitty in context with all ↑ that.
