I groaned as I rolled my ass off of the couch for the fourth time today. This was supposed to be my day off. A day to kick back and relax and do nothing. Instead, I somehow managed to pull fluffy sitting duty while my wife and daughter were out doing their own thing.
Opening the door, I was greeted with the sight of our family's shit rat lying on her back crying; her stubby legs flailing wildly in the air. She'd rolled off of her pillow while watching FluffTV, ended up on her back and was now too stupid to roll back over even though I knew she was capable of it.
I thought back to the day when my daughter came running back from the pet store in the mall. There was something my wife and I really needed to see there. Some kind of little pink fuzzball...
They named her Creampuff.
I call her something a little bit different.

"Yeah, you're welcome." I replied half-heartedly. I gave the room a quick survey to see if she needed any food or water or her litter box cleaned before I left. Everything looked good to go.
No sooner had I closed the safe room door again then I heard another wailing cry from inside.

Sure enough, Creampuff really had pooped herself a little bit. I grabbed some paper towel, wet it, and then cleaned up her tail and around her asshole. This was one of many things I didn't much care for about owning a fluffy pony. Unless they shit ~just...fucking...right~, they get it all over their tail and hindquarters. At least this time, there wasn't much to clean up.
With a bag of peas and a tea towel in one hand and Creampuff supported on my shoulder with the other, I carried her into the living room and sat down on the couch. There was no way I could leave her alone now that she was injured and no way she would leave me alone either. I also couldn't trust her with a bag of frozen peas because, guaranteed, she would find a way to fuck that up too.

"NU WIKE COWD!!" Creampuff screamed as I applied the cold pack to her ankle. She tried to squirm her way away from me but I held her with my other hand. Finally, she just accepted it and lay in my lap quietly sobbing to herself. I stroked her mane and back to calm her. That usually worked. Soon enough, I had Creampuff's little purple tongue licking my hand. She'd accepted that I was trying to help her and the ice pack was already making the swelling go down.
I left Creampuff on the couch as I got up to get a tenser bandage from my wife's first aid kit in the bathroom. I knew it would be a good idea to bind her leg for a day or so just to be sure.

I'd only heard Creampuff scream like that a few times before. It meant that she was either really scared of something or hurt really badly. The former meant that I'd have to break out the upholstery shampooer while the latter could mean an emergency trip to the vet.

Do you think there should be some established rules regarding fluffies? I mean there are already, but I'm talking like, if you're writing a story, something that shouldn't happen.
To me, one big rule is this.
A fluffy should NEVER be able to outsmart an adult or actually, intentionally really, kill another human above the age of 10. I feel like this is very important because it kinda destroys the helplessness or weakness that's been instilled since their creation.

Well different people have different rules.
I think it's possible for a fluffie to kill a human only if the fluffie is the chosen one with super intelligence or taught that way.
I'm still new so I don't know what my rules are yet. I won't be doing gore though without reason, its going to have to have a proper story and reason.

Instead of staying put, Creampuff had tried to jump off of the couch in order to follow me. It wasn't just a sprained leg anymore. Now Creampuff had a compound fracture...and a bloody nose from hitting the coffee table and probably several other injuries. This was something else I hated about having one of these things in the house. They're not the most durable pet out there. At least the bitch had the decency to knock herself unconscious in the fall.
