Why do libs assume so much?
Personally I think it's because they are so insecure that they think everyone wants the same thing as every other individual because all libs want is acceptance
Oh little baby
It's actually because republicans have been lying for over 50 years to draw in racists and religious bigots and use the unthinking majority so that they can deregulate and hoard money for themselves.
>>710730488
So you are assuming libs take extra precaution because of repubs track record
What if i told u repubs think the same of libs
What if i told it doesn't matter what party you are with because politics is not a fucking party its politics and you all who think repub has better values than libs and vice versa are all SLAVES
liberals are dumbfucks that are gullible to trust government with power and money.
government is corrupt, government loses, squanders and steals money - we all know this - yet it is liberals, progressives and socialists that are the only people dumb enough to want to give it more responsibility, more money and more power.
kill yourself.
Whenever I see the word "libs" or "Libbie" being used by someone I know they never had an original thought in their lives. Just being a good little parrot is all you are

I consider myself somewhere between conservative and classical liberal, and one thing I wish would happen is the reasonable, rational liberals would try and take back the party from the wild leftist SJW "everything offends me" jerks that have done nothing but be 1 part that created a huge gap between right and left. The "alt right" being the other part, and spawned in response to them. Guys like Dave Ruben make me have some faith that those kinds of liberals still exist out there.

Don't trust these hilltards, they've lied about everything, they employ media personalities to lie as documented in the wikileaks, they paid people to start violence at Trump rallies as documented on video by Profject Veriftas and they want Hillary to go to poor nations and fleece them during natural disasters as documented in Clinton Cash.

yjust bc both sides are puppets of the wealthy and have their fair share of trolls doesnt mean nothing can change. clearly things can still get done. so there is some merit in voting for one side over the other based on what you think they will realistically accomplish.
major change, like redistributing wealth fairly/paying for actual work to be done instead of parasite owners, can only be accomplished through electing someone who isnt a rich puppet. but there are none of such candidates bc it requires money to advertise.
the difference is that liberals are far more conducive to real change. they are the ones who would fight for it while the conservatives are the obstructionists, racists, etc. the really dumb constituents who only vote based on what the sheriff of their broken down rural tells them to are conservatives. they lack the vision and societal awareness for a realistic change, they are stuck on being butthurt that their factory shut down, or black people are noisy to ever vote for real change. they just vote against the commie nigger loving liberals. thats a stark difference from the liberals who are much more open to discussion. and drspite what 4chan memes believe, there are very few serious "everything is racist!##" liberals.

You know the "state-run-media" absolutely loves trump right?
Here's a thought, Maybe the Media just goes with the mainstream opinion.
>>710732896
Easy.
If you boil these two parties down to their core values.
Republicans respect your property and are against theft.
Democrats are attempting to justify theft by toying with your emotions and exploiting your belief in things you need - insurance, college, welfare, food stamps, affirmative action(racism), no child left behind, refugees, illegal aliens.
Even republicans have parts that I don't agree with but they are, objectively, far superior to democrats. Democrats really should be rounded up, charged with treason and deported or executed.
This is a broad overview. If you're a dumbfuck, you'll likely assume every last person should be accounted for, but im talking about the majority of people in either party. Liberal retards like you would only be satisfied If I spent the next 10 years accounting for every differing opinion, but it is clear that these core beliefs are generally accepted by all on either side.
You're a dumbass, you're desperate to be right, all your friends confirm your bias, but you're dead wrong. And hopefully someday soon it kills you.

what i mean is that conservatives are less likely to understand who is screwing them. they blame the niggers, the "welfare whores"(despite being on some type of assistance or gov benefit), the socialists and commies, the gov, etc when the rich who use money to construct the society they want are the ones screwing them. this is especially true of rural republicans. the republicans are also the side with religious rule, they are so blinded by issues like bathrooms, they cant see whats going on.
theres a bunch of problems with welfare
1 no check on recipients
2 people have kids to extort welfare money
3 too many jobs dont pay enough to not be on welfare
4 too many on welfare
5 not enough workers
6 the rich who could help the most avoid taxes the most
7 little opportunity for people to get educated in a skill to get off welfare
8 mental illness still isnt taken seriously, its a bitch to get welfare for
and on and on
but the biggest issue is as the rich get richer, the workers suffer. the workers are always getting taxed more and benefits cut so the rich can get ticher and the poor can stay on welfare. thats the problem. we dont have a society encouraging education and productive work, we have a society where the richest people make money by being born into it and collecting paychecks. you dont get fair conpensation for value produced.

That is our duty to regulate
The biggest problem is... you ready?
BANKS!?!?!! Why?
Is because they own the currency you use and you are wondering where is it all, its with them via tax
Thats why people are afraid to spend their money on workers because they don't have a back up like the rich because when the banks are in control, its harder to build a foundation when you got someone everyweek taking material from you foundation saying you gotta feed the blacks with out money that we created for you to use but don't save it, use it on other people

banks and the rich are both terrible and need a swift kick in the ass.
the rich dont gain money from doing work. they crash markets and get bailed out. even when they fail in their own capitalistic society, they get bailed out. how many people who cant pay their loans get bailed out? none, the rich get special treatment. trump SHOULD be penniless according to his bankruptcy but he fanagled the tax/divorce laws to maintain money. who pays for that? who pays for the bailouts? taxes from the productive workers. when the rich and poor are both gaining, the workers are losing.
the fact that the banks own money is absolutely ridiculous. they really dont own money but everyone lets them act like they do. what happens when banks fail ?worker tax money bails them out again and again.
the banks gamed the system unfairly and are corrupt af. they should be storage units not money owners. if i store my money at a bank, why should they loan that out? its absurd and all the capitalist assholes love it. capitalism is flawed and the banks exploit it.
the banks are vicious assholes who manipulate the markets so they can get richer. housing market crash is prime example.
they are just absurd in general. interest is really dumb. that interest money has to come from somewhere, and in a huge web economy like america, it comes from the workers
"people afraid to spend money on workers" well theres a bunch of reasons for this. irrational communism fear, american dream delusion, rich owner worship, etc
im not sure what you mean the workers dont have a backup, what do they need a backup for?
i get what youre saying: you gotta pay interest to banks and taxes to welfare etc. its a big mess, theres a lot that needs fixing. banks and the idea of lending money at interest are part of the problem for sure but its deeper than that. the biggest problem is that value is not compensated for fairly.

Did I ever say they didn't? No.
I said she lied about Benghazi's attack reasons to the public when they had intel proving otherwise days beforehand. It was a planned terrorist attack thanks to the lax security. If she had authorized a stronger Marine presence to be moved in just 24 hours prior for security (since they had reliable information on the attack some 4 days before) then likely none of this would have happened.
Hell, even allowing them to move in when they got the call for help could have possibly saved some of them.
She is just as responsible for what happened as the people who decided to cut security which lead to the attack in the first place - republican or democrat.

Concentrate the energy in a smaller and more structured(be a cause of...etc) and you will soon realise the slavery we put our selves in
Heres a start to help you gain some more confidence
What is money and did it come about
It comes about when someone can't trade because of circumstances and offers a token represebting a promise that you will pay later
Money is just promises in exchange for time

HUD shows that in most states, to get a single bedroom apartment and afford normal living expenses it would take over 60 hours of work a week at minimum wage to be able afford the cost of living for a single person.
Every single state was 60+ hours, with some of them as high as almost 90 hours a week.
The cost of living index has risen, while the wage has not. That is a fundamental problem because it should rise in tandem otherwise the rich get richer and the poor get more poor. The middle class is disappearing in the US because of this.
>>710732602
Same holds true in business. Middle management can't fix it? Hire consultants. Charge customer more.
Not showing enough profit? Create illegal accounts with customer data and get busted. Charge customers more for legal fees.
It's all the same shit. The problem is at some point the inefficiency of large organizations eclipses any advantage gained from the economies of scale.
>>710737230

>The lie was initiated by Clinton's State Department and was backed by the White House as a whole until some whistleblower brought the truth to light.
"A two-year investigation by the Republican-controlled House Intelligence Committee has found that the CIA and the military acted properly in responding to the 2012 attack on a U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, and asserted no wrongdoing by Obama administration appointees.
Debunking a series of persistent allegations hinting at dark conspiracies, the investigation of the politically charged incident determined that there was no intelligence failure, no delay in sending a CIA rescue team, no missed opportunity for a military rescue, and no evidence the CIA was covertly shipping arms from Libya to Syria.
In the immediate aftermath of the attack, intelligence about who carried it out and why was contradictory, the report found. That led Susan Rice, then U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, to inaccurately assert that the attack had evolved from a protest, when in fact there had been no protest. But it was intelligence analysts, not political appointees, who made the wrong call, the committee found. The report did not conclude that Rice or any other government official acted in bad faith or intentionally misled the American people."

your desperation for a living wage does not mean your desperation is fair. it is not fair that anyone be without heat/ac, a functioning car (doesnt have to be a beamer, just something you arent breaking down on the highway with), internet access at home, gas, water, electric, plumbing, the amenities while other have golden toilets. those things are minimum comfort.

The real problem relates to what i said bro
Can you figure it out?
Tip: the banks main interest is to get you to borrow more
How?
By letting you think there is no way except another loan
Except its the truth
P is not equal to P+i
P - Principle portion of loan
i - interest
How is the gov gonna make the banks give them more notes if it's already payed back the last one but could pay the interest because no notes existed
(More note loans)
That is the cause of the real probkem of devaluation
More notes for lies

Your argument does not disprove what I said - a single person cannot survive on 40 hour weeks at minimum wage.

Because it is true and you have the evidence because you show how the mechanism works

You tell em all you talk about it how little money there is
They'll say so
You say banks
>>710738548
you shouldnt have to struggle to get basic comfort. that is the point. "regular hours" is encompassed in my argument.
everyone willing to work should be able to do productive work and be conpensated fairly. if this compensation is via wage or # of hours does not matter, what matters is you should get it.
the discussion is about what qualifies as miminum comfort and whether workers should receive it. i say yes. you are trying to derail the discussion.

"history" is not an argument. if you want to argue that heat is not a basic comfort then try it. do not come with garbage like "history" hostory is filled with injustices. to admire thistory or use it as a standard is retarded.
"luxuries" what about being comfortable makes it a luxury? i did not say give everyone an f150 or a beamer or a 2 story house in an upperclass neighborhood. a small but adequate living space will do. an adequate car will do. make some kind of argument where you say a human being does not deserve those basic things.
"sits on their basic ration" it is not ration, smartass. you have to do productive work to be paid. and that payment should afford basic comfort.

>Also, just as I suspected - you don't live alone. You have others you live with for support and share the costs of living with.
That's the key to surviving on irregular hours. That's what I mean by resourcefulness. Minimum wage isn't helping me or my household one bit.
>Your argument does not disprove what I said - a single person cannot survive on 40 hour weeks at minimum wage.
40 hours weeks would mean I get to live my version of a millionaire lifestyle. 40 hours @ $5/hour would leave me with a valuable ~$100 surplus at the end of the month.
So what part of my argument doesn't disprove what you said?
>Your frugality, while comendable, would not allow you to live alone

"more than you are worth"
no working human being is worth less than basic comfort. and an owner is the LAST person on the planet who should get to decide the value of others. the value of your work is how much it does for society, not how much money a company makes. thats how you should be compensated
"force more people onto welfare" thats one of the problems. the owners keep getting richer and the workers keep paying for it.
if you are basing your arguments around the success of an owner then there is no more discussion

You are worth what someone is willing to pay you. You are free to assemble basic comfort for yourself without anyone paying you if you want. But guess what, it's fucking impossible for build, cars, ac, internet, nice house by yourself so you trade your skills with others to obtain these luxuries.
Companies are not just evil entities that get to decide how much money to hand out to people. They are setup to organise and direct capital to get all these amazing things like buildings cars done. If you find a better way of organising these things then you will get rich AND everyone else will be better off as well because goods will become cheaper, making EVERYONE relatively richer.
You getting in the way of this natural process make thing less efficient, more expensive and make everyone poorer. (to the extent that you have an impact on things seeing as you are obviously pretty worthless. They're the same as conservatives in a lot of ways, to be honest. They're idealists who see nothing wrong with enforcing their ideology on other people, they're uncompromising and stubborn to the point where it should be classified as mental sickness, and they've bought into the idea that they're on some team which is innately better than their opponent's team, where even if said opponent makes a good point they must argue it because that's not *their* stance.
If your mind is not flexible, open to new information and willing to challenge its own ideas, it is at best untrained. If you're not willing to take the middle ground long enough to find a better route than blind adherence to idealism, you're not the sort of person who should have any sort of power, political or otherwise.

You're wasting your breathe. The idiots your arguing with will never understand hard work, let alone the fact that A LOT of families before worked their entire lives with no luxuries for themselves PRECISELY so they could save every penny they earned and leave it for their children.
The millenials have grown up (I won't say all, but most as I'm a millenial myself) with nothing but instant gratification. "Internet should be a right, not a privilege!" "Everyone should have a cell phone because it's impossible to get around without one these days!" And all this other bullshit.
They confuse luxuries for "rights" and are the most entitled dipshits on the planet. Their parents raised them without knowing the value of a dollar so it's all "Yeah, free college for everyone no big deal!" while they probably pay a few hundred bucks TOPS in taxes.
Their entire house of cards falls apart without the innovators, the inventors, the creators. You know those people who actually made something from nothing? The people who thought of a fresh new idea and got paid for it?
They don't understand that those people, most of them, got super rich because they took ENORMOUS risks. If they had failed, they wouldn't have a pot to piss in but since they succeeded they're the evil ones! They're the ones holding us back!
No, kids. They're the ones who didn't waste their lives being jealous of what the other guy had and trying to figure out a way to take some of his shit, they spent every waking minute building, inventing, or maintaining something that their parents built and created.

It's interesting that the people that say this are also in favour of more stagnant economies. They see creative destruction as the end of the world instead of seeing it's necessity for future prosperity. In the same way they can't ever question the ideas they already hold.
>x disqualifies you from discussion
Whenever I see someone write this they are almost always wrong. It's probably the best metric to use to disqualify someone from a conversation.
>>710743887
yes, absolutely rich people squander money. i dont disagree with that. theres so many examples of owners tanking businesses, markets, etc with poor decisionmaking. that is the problem. then they get bailed out by the worker. all the more reason owners and inheritance are stupid concepts
is there an example in there of someone who inherited a fortune and ended up on welfare?
idk your life, maybe you deserve higher compensation, idk. im saying that compensation at the smallest level for productive work should be the thibgs ive listed. heat, car, etc.
>>710744229
ive never implied such a thing. i work for my living. i wouldnt even know what to do with millions other than buy houses and give them to struggling families. my entire argument is that the workers should not be picking breadcrumbs. the workers produce the value.
>>710744687
ok mate i didnt mean to offend you or something. im on mobile so i cant type like i want.
ive also done the capitalism argument over and over and i dont wanna put in the effort on mobile if its going to end in a stalemate
you can walk away knowing i was too weak to reply. thats fine. you win this argument. i surrender.
>>710744690
>then they get bailed out by the worker
So the families who lost their fortunes got bailed out?
>is there an example in there of someone who inherited a fortune and ended up on welfare?
How about those families who wasted their fortune?
>im saying that compensation at the smallest level for productive work should be the thibgs ive listed. heat, car, etc.
Those are not as expensive as you think.
>>710744876

>>710744540
>>710744540
I'm not implying anything. You're cherry picking so hard that you make yourself look like an idiot.
I could literally list a million examples where precisely one person "magically" becomes rich just by inventing something but I'll use one VERY relevant example that you can wrap your baby-mind around. Jay-Z? You know that guy that Hillary's been parading across stage the past two days to pander to the black vote? He literally wrote words down, sang them, and became "magically rich." Literally rich from nothing, but the guy worked his fucking ass off for years before it paid off. Again, he risked everything and it paid off.
Monopolies are outlawed in the US and they are broken up by anti-trust laws very efficiently. I doubt you were even a twinkle in your dad's eye let alone in diapers when the Microsoft situation happened or you'd know that from life experience.
There are tons of companies that HAVE started with one guy, an idea, and zero funding. There wasn't a gofundme in fucking 1950 dipshit. Yeah, you had some investors, and AGAIN those investors took enormous risk and they lost everything just as much as it paid off.
Wireless communications and internet were FOR THE THIRD TIME an enormous risk. The first ones in the door could literally lose the shirt off their back for betting on a long shot that paid off.
You're looking at shit from some dumbass 12 year old perspective like smartphones were "such an obvious idea" and people 40 years ago were fucking stupid for not thinking of it earlier.
In short: you're a dumbass. get a job, kid.
>>710745035
right, there are probably some families who lose their inheritance. is that supposed to prove that there are some who dont? or prove that the system is fair? i dont see why one fam squandering money negates others from being bailed out by workers
they are expensive enough to not be affordable on current compensation for the lowest compensated workers without pooling money with another.
i wish you were right. i wish i could work 40hours a week minimum wage and afford all those things. i could spend my free time on the internet in pointless 4chan threads
>>710745350
im not disqualifying you, i just cant do it right now mate. sorry
>>710744690
You seem to be under the impression that the reason the government "bailed out" big businesses was to help the business owners themselves. No, dipshit. The REASON companies like Wells Fargo and other banks, car companies and other shit were bailed out is because THE WORKERS would starve otherwise. You didn't go in there and personally work to save one of those companies, but the government DID go in and make sure they didn't collapse so that hundreds of thousands of families that worked FOR those companies wouldn't fucking starve to death.
Do you even economics or what?
It wasn't some old-boys-club decision like "Hey, buddy. Sorry to hear your company tanked, let me pull some strings in the government to save you." It was "Holy shit, we gotta do something because if this company tanks, we have to think about the 400,000 Americans that are going to starve to death and not be able to feed their babies."
>>710745693
>right, there are probably some families who lose their inheritance. is that supposed to prove that there are some who dont? or prove that the system is fair? i dont see why one fam squandering money negates others from being bailed out by workers
You are implying that rich people are universally being bailed out by the workers. What family who lost their fortune got bailed out?
>they are expensive enough to not be affordable on current compensation for the lowest compensated workers without pooling money with another.
Heat, water, and the minimums for car ownership are not that expensive or hard to come by. The only expensive part of car ownership is non-routine repairs (which are most likely caused by neglect on the owner's part).
>i wish i could work 40hours a week minimum wage and afford all those things.
I don't even have regular hours and have all that. You have to be smart about how you manage expenses.

I used Jay-Z as an example YOU would likely know where he didn't get a hand up and literally made something out of nothing. A rebuttal to your argument that it never happens.
I never said wireless technology is 40 years old, you ARE a kid though for just saying "smartphones were just an inevitability" when you've likely never invented anything but high blood pressure in your parents.
You clearly struggle with critical thinking since you can't even be bothered to formulate a sentence, let alone a fresh, new idea. And those guys that do? They deserve to get paid for it.
If you read even a few pages of an economics book you'd realize that without the massive incentive to potentially be paid enormous amounts of money in reward, most innovation would slow to less than a crawl.
You're arguing to take away that incentive when people like Ford were motivated solely by some weird intrinsic value to just help people. No, it's always been about money and always will be about money.
You'll grow up one day.

Check out what Scott Adams the creator of Dilbert and trained hypnotist has to say about trump. It's very interesting.
>>710730316
They like to think they're smart when of course this typically isn't the case. Many of the "educated" liberals choose the most fluff / bullshit degrees like gender studies or anthropology. They equate intelligence with how "nice" or tolerant they are to non-whites and other percieved marginalized minorities, coupled with detest towards anything Western.
>>710751523

why do americans seem to think that being liberal means you have an progressive mindset and love niggers?
>>710752440
Propaganda.
>>710752440
Because your liberal is our libertarian/small government conservative, and our liberal means social liberalism, not classical liberalism.
>>710752535
No, you just don't understand how it got that way. FDR started this trend and it has evolved since. Liberalism means originally favoring liberty. FDR popularized the idea that liberty can not be had if one is suffering in poverty, thus social liberalism was born. Libertarian is the American version of the phrase you're looking for
>>710751602
I'll tl;dr it for you. Trump is a master persuader. He is incredible at many of the techniques Scott learned from hypnosis masters. Educated liberals get stuck on the content of what he says but in reality that isn't important. What's important is striking a nerve with mainstream America. "Smart people" think his policies are dumb when in fact they're irrelevant.
>>710752747
>FDR started this trend and it has evolved since.
In other words, propaganda. How else did FDR succeed in co-opting the term?
>>710732632
>This is what democrats do, this is called a strawman argument. Noticed I wasn't talking about corporations
But you realize that is the other option, right? The Right pretends that if the government doesn't take charge, "the people" will. No, CORPORATIONS will. Heard the phrase "Robber-barons" from the early 1900's? Yeah, that's because government wasn't in charge, so business became the defacto rulers. They had 6-7 day, 60+ hour work weeks, 10 year olds working in factories, and people being fired for on-the-job injuries, being left to starve.
Democratic government is a bad system of ruling a nation, but it's less bad than every other option that's been tried, including "free market capitalism."

I'm not sure if he was the one who coined it, but the idea that liberty could not be experienced in destitution was popularized by his presidency and the philosophy behind his policies. It makes perfect sense, you can't experience freedom if you and your family struggling to survive.

You don't seem to get it. Most Americans don't follow that and think he's retarded. This youtube comment makes my point perfectly
> What cracks me up are the comments "Don't pretend you knew what the Nuclear Triad was before you saw this". Well no; the "Average" Citizen doesn't normally know that sort of thing; especially if they are not deeply invested in politics. But when you run for president, you need to know things like this; or at the very least listen to what the person talking to you is saying.
Actually you don't. You just need to know as much as the average voter. Becoming president is about getting elected, not being a good president. What's the point of answering a question about something the average voter doesn't understand? Better to tell them about a time you were right about something they vaguely understand.
