Oblivion has an incredibly comfy lake near the east end of the map.
It's next to a watchtower and appears to have nothing to do with the story. It's a nice little detail the devs added in.

i've been playing neverwinter, and have hit the point of having a paywall every 5 ranks. it wasn't bad the first 10 bucks, and wouldn't have an issue if they had a subscription based model for leveling up, but they only nickel and dime you for upward progression.

Well i think they use megaservers, so european players are all crammed together. It's very well populated for that reason alone.
ESO is really only good when you have an active subscription going, because it gives you unlimited access to all the DLC and the craft bag (all your wood etc goes into an endless bag separate from your inventory). Outside of that you can still progress to the highest level with the base content.
How is neverwinter population wise? i was thinking of looking at it too, i played the beta and was kind of hooked.

population wise its not bad, its a single internation server, and a europoor server.
its pretty sparce 1-20, and the game moves moderately slow.
Once you are above 20 you start seeing people all over, once you are in the 40+ areas, running daily dungeons and such there are people.
the strongholds area is a neat idea, the crafting is bland, you just set it as a background task.
the campaign is different than many games, you have a specific list of things you must accomplish, which can be done at any lever, and you can skip around doing them as you go along.
you have another line of quest that will take you through the different areas of the game.
I've had more fun playing neverwinter than i did with gw2 which is what i was playing previous. but not nearly as much fun playing ff14

I remember baiting PKers in low level towns by equipping low level armor and running around outside town and having my high level stuff hotkeyed.
One guy got particularly butthurt and pissy when I kept killing him over and over when he respawned. He threatened to get a higher level friend if I didn't stop, I didn't and that friend never showed up.
Eventually he spawned closer and closer to town where he was safe.
