But baseball? And then you have top-tier pitchers who throw the ball and miss the fucking batter 10 times in a row, and batters who swing and miss, and fall over.

Experiment: Gives everyone(rich or poor) welfare to enough to pay for slighty better than shit apartment and basic food stuff
Impact: Ppl will try to all move to prime areas, and supply/demand imbalance will cause the prices to raise to maintain balance.
Result: Poor will have to move to rural areas or slummy areas in big cities.No real improvement. Middle/Rich will equally get richer and compete more with their free money.No real difference than now.
Oh gee. Nothing has improved, and taxes are much higher in order to pay for all this welfare. And the price of everything in prime spots increased. Only imaginable benefit is it will spread poor to rural areas that already have low cost housing built. And now millions of people want want to migrate here so they can live free.
