It's an underground hip-hop duo. I remember being a senior in high school when this album came out and liking it a lot because of the Madlib production (I was obsessed with his Quasimoto stuff.) But through the years, it's really not that great of an album. I honestly don't know why it's considered a "God Tier" album nor why MF Doom is considered an amazing rapper. None of his shit makes any sense. It sounds like the rambling of a mad man. Some of the songs are still cool, but most aren't. I think it's one of those things that people see others posting it in threads and praising it, so they feel they should too.
