Its a pretty fantastic anime. The 2011 visuals are great, while the 1999 anime has a humor and charm you can't miss, though I would personally watch the 2011 one. While after the Yorknew City arc it mostly focuses on Killua and Gon and leaves out the other two main characters, the synergy and relationship that those two build are some of the best in an anime. The Chimera Ant arc is very sad but well written, and will certainly leave you feeling something afterwards. You can search that up and anyone will tell you how good the Chimera Ant arc is, and along the way you'll just ship Killua and Gon and wish they kiss as every episode goes by.
