For the rest of the day, I felt eyes on me. Occasionally, I'd catch the odd disapproving look before the person turned away or changed their facial expression. It didn't matter because I had something they didn't have. I knew that they'd be there waiting for me when I got home.
True enough, when I did arrive home that night, Fruit Punch (what I named the mare), Lemonaid and Grape Juice all greeted me happily as I opened the safe room door. I'd stopped by the local pet store on the way home in order to pick up a few things for them.
The first was a food dish and water bottle with a bag of kibble. I also picked up a basic playset consisting of a ball and three wooden blocks. The final and most important thing was a litter box, some sand and a sifting scoop. Fruit Punch seemed like she'd been a feral all of her life so I was pretty sure she wasn't litter trained. That being the case, I was also sure the foals wouldn't be either. Oh well. Everyone was about to learn.

Opening the safe room door, I found Lemonaid and Grape Juice huddled in the corner and the rest of the safe room absolutely covered in shit. Fruit Punch had relieved herself and then dragged it all around everywhere. She sat in the middle of the room on her fat ass with a big grin on her face. "Fwuit Punch nebah make poopies in da wittah bowcks!" she announced triumphantly. Without a word, I collected the weanlings and closed the door behind me.
