You could argue that the "nombinary" folk and the "transgender, need hormones to be happy" folk are two different responses to the root problem of gender dysphoria. Anyone who bases so much of their identity off of something as simple as gender or freedom from gender is going to have issues.. but once again I think it's a case by case thing. I used to think I was a ftm trans, but decided not to because I had a laundry list of other mental issues I had to deal with. Now I see myself as a woman who has an atypical gender role, but I don't give a fuck about it anymore because society is going to be a cunt no matter how I identify/dress myself. It might be harder for people with gender dysphoria who actually care to be a part of society though so once again, I try not to judge people for what they do to themselves to make them happy.

What I see as a problem with people I met in the real world is the teenagers that decide they want to be called by special pronouns, not even "them" that shit with "x" and stuff, don't really experience dysphoria and keep on acting and dressing according to the gender roles they claim to defy.
Take into account that I live in a country that has a very gender specific language and it's nearly impossible to be as gender neuter as one can be in english or asian languages.

Very true. I can see how that would be damaging especially if the people in question don't actually experience gender dysphoria. For many people it's not a choice, and the only people I could see asking for different gender specific pronouns are the people who's day would be royally fucked up by constantly being reminded of their biological gender, which wouldn't be the case if they're still dressing like their biological gender all the time.
I get that, and I guess I also agree that people who make a big deal about respecting their special snowflake gender identity are drawing the most hatred towards the trans community.
I think as time goes on gender roles won't be so ingrained into society (at least for people that don't choose to adhere to them. No hate for people that still want to live by those roles) and those people who feel the need to rebel against being gendered without feeling actual mental strife because of it will dwindle away because living outside of the binary genders will be normal.
