The heroin itself doesnt slow me down, the thing thats difficult is the cost of it and the people that sell it, as long as you have the money and a good connect you can do it and live a fine a productive life... but its difficult to find a steady connect sometimes! I have missed 2 days of work this year because of it, its my fault for not having it lined up tho, my connect couldnt come through and I was out... cant work while dope sick, vomiting and shitting... its a problem

Getting over the physical withdrawals are the easy part. The hardest part in staying sober for addicts and alcoholics is the mental/psychological addiction that follows, often for years afterwards.
That's why relapse rates are so high. Not because of the physical addiction - that passes in a week. It's the mental addiction that brings people back, long after they're no longer physically addicted.

Before I got sober, I was drinking 1/2 gallon of whiskey per day. If I didn't drink, I would start hallucinating. I would be too weak to walk to the liquor store. I was at risk of a deadly seizure. My kidneys were so enlarged that they protruded from the sides of my back. I was constantly vomiting green and yellow bile.
That was over 5 years ago. I've been sober ever since having to be hospitalized for 6 days.
I'm not sure how bad off you are currently, but you will get as bad as me unless you get sober. It is just a matter of time. It is inevitable. The real alcoholic has two choices: get sober or drink himself to death. There is no middle of the road solution.

Alcoholics/addicts share a common bond, a common struggle, and a common plight. It's often said in AA that two alcoholics speaking to one another is "the language of the heart." Im using marijuana for like 5 years now and im smoking regurally. Now im experimenting with tramafol and codeine... First i took like 400mg of those with atleast 1 month period...
