It's this, Jet Moto, or Legend of Dragoon. It's really, really hard to pick a favorite game from either the PS1 or the PS2, due to the massive libraries.

I didn't get a ps1 until like 2000 cos being a kid, it took me a while to save up. I used to go over my uncles like every weekend and spend hours playing demo disks though. Good memories

That game was dope as fuck. Really good mechanics. Plus I doubt anyone played it for the furry aspect since it was polygons and we were like 10 when it came out. I just hated that I didn't get the super powerful chi blast until literally as the game ended to use in NG+

PS1 version is the greatest of them imo and I've been playing it since I was a kid. Now that I am older I am having more fun speedrunning it than playing it casually though.
the combat and progression in this game feels so good and has a lot of charm. lots of characters to unlock and play with and unlike most rpg's has some great end game content. my fav game of all time not just fav ps1 game
